greeklover: Thanks for another giveaway, GameRager! I'll try to get your posts out of the "low rated" but those bots/trolls are fast and persistent:)
It is appreciated, though I don't worry about the points & just like nice posts to not be low rated....so thanks for that.

Also if you want/have time, could you uprate post 56 by aRealCyborg? They seem to be hitting him now too as well. :\

(Thanks in advance if you do that or did it already)

greeklover: In for the $10 dollar prize , I gave a good show in a past Secret Hitler game with zeo as the host. It all started here https://www.gog.com/forum/general/secret_hitler_1_legend_of_the_cows/post6 Favorite hobby of the past time was to play board games with good friends and fight with each other over who cheated and who betrayed who in teh game:D But no time to gather and play anymore.
Well that "entry" checks out, so entered and good luck. :)

(Also I also like to play such games sometimes, though not as often as I used to[small pieces cause some of my mental issues to flare up]...still, when I do play it is fun :))
==========================================================

To all: The contest will end in around 15 hours from now(at the time/date listed in the OP POST).....so everyone who hasn't entered and wants to do so should make sure to do so before the deadline. :)

Hello there,

I wish to enter for the $5 dollar prize.

My favourite stealth game is Thief: The Dark Project, with The Metal Age coming at second, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory at third, and Deadly Shadows at fourth. I am not sure which fifth stealth game I would pick, but it would probably be Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.

You seem to have listed many of my favorite games as well(well minus the newest thief game, but it's still a decent list)....you are a person of good taste, I see. :)

To all: As I am a bit tired at the moment & want to be wide awake when I make the draw, I will extend the deadline for entries from another 8 hours until 12 PM(Feb 26th), Eastern Standard Time(at which time the contest will be closed to new entries and the winners drawn). All entrants who manage to get in before then will be added to the entrants lists and then the winners drawn a bit after that :)

It would be hard to choose one favorite game, I still hope it will be the next on I play.
If I had to choose one that best combines what I find most important it would be Planescape Torment. It has engaging story, sense of progress, captivating and well fitting soundtrack and interesting art design.
But what is most important, is that it is more than sum of its parts. That makes output of human creative activity piece of art.

Apart of that I love watching the stars, unfortunately more often than not on the screen of my computer than in real life, as the sky in parts where I live is polluted to much by the street light.

Thank you for the giveaway.
If I may, I would like to enter for the 5$ prize.

Please enter me into the draw for the $10 prize.

Here's an old post of mine when I played in one of the Forum Mafia games: https://www.gog.com/forum/general_archive/gog_forum_mafia_20_were_putting_on_a_show/post28

My favourite hobby/pastime (aside from computer games) is reading. I enjoy F/SF (although I only read old stuff, nothing new), as well as non-fiction (especially ancient history and science).

Thank you, GameRager!

Well I could've asked for people to list a bunch of their favorite games, but I didn't want to ask for people entering to have to think of too many things to list to enter. :)

I also LOVE this game(it is installed atm and I will play it some day and try to beat it this time :D).

I have tried beating it a few times, but there is SO MUCH to read(which is a good thing for the most part) & every time i've tried to finish it I usually lost all saves/etc before finishing even half the game(due to PC or data failures/losses, etc). Add to that the fact there are multiple "classes" to advance in and it makes it a daunting task to finish it.

Hopefully this time will be the time I beat it. :)

This also sounds good(also reminds me of that sentimental scene from Men In Black 1).

I also like to read on rare occasions(though as i've said before on the forums, I had to cut back after getting "burnt out" from trying to read too many larger fiction works at once....though I still read sometimes).

01kipper: Thank you, GameRager!
Not a problem.....at least you made it before the deadline. :D

To all: The contest is open for around 1 more hour, so everyone has until then to get their entries in. :)

The prize will be awarded on March 1st or so......you can either pick a game/games that add up to 10 dollars US now(to be paid out on or after March 1st) or wait until that day to see if there's a sale you might want to take part in.

Reply to this and let me know what you want to do with your prize. :)

You know what's ALSO tormenting? Trying to pick what game/games you want with your winnings....cuz you WON! :D

With your win the same conditions(as the other winners) apply: You can pick a game/games now or wait until the 1st of March to see if a sale comes along with a game/games you might want....all prizes will be paid out on the 1st of March, though. :)

ColaPoweredGamer: Ok, I'm in, you got me!

My favorite game is DOOM! I play it every year and only recently started modding it, and it's even better. My favorite hobby would be finding obscure games and researching them. I want to see other people's ideas, and how they executed those ideas.

Also, I'm entering for the second prize!
And you are now DOOMed....to pick your prize like the others.....as you have been awarded second prize as well. :)

(I decided to award two entrants from the second prize pool as I have a bit of extra money to spare this upcoming month)

The same stuff as the other winners applies: You can pick you game/games now or wait until the 1st of March and pick then(to possibly take part in any sales around that time)...all prizes will be awarded to all winners on the 1st(or a bit after), though. :)

TheBigCore: My favorite game is Doom 2. As for forum games, does this count?
And you win the rep door prize(I truly wish it could've been a game). :)
