LAN multiplayer should be available without GOG Galaxy. We will look into it tomorrow.

Hey guys,
It appears that there might have been a misunderstanding here. Gauntlet does not have LAN multiplayer option so the only multiplayer available is via the Internet. The only local multiplayer is the "on the same PC" one and it can be run without GOG Galaxy.
