Ive got a problem.

I have a mac osx 10.7 which runs most games without problems. I had a pc computer that was vista and ran fallout 1 perfectly with speed and everything. Now the pc is gone....

When I try to play fallout 1 on mac, it runs slow with just bringing up main screen, using skills like doctor and first aid, steal. To put it simple, the game runs choppy and I want to fix that for my mac. What could I install to make it less choppy? I am terrible with computers so any ideas that are good for a beginner (such as install this or what not), I'd be glad.

All my other rpgs I play run on this computer :(

Hmm, I am running the game on my Macbook Pro 10.6.8 OS X and my sister has it also on her Macbook Pro OS X 10.7.5 (or whatever the latest OS is) and Fallout 1 runs fine on each (GOG version). So I don't understand why you were having this issue (if it was Fallout 2 from the GOG website that would be a different story, since that uses a Wine wrapper which doesn't work well on most current Mac OS X's from my understanding). I think your best bet is to contact GOG with the issue or see if there's a patch you can install... I know FIXT would be your best bet, sadly I don't think it's currently available for Mac (which is irritating). Let us know if you manage to resolve the issue. Good luck!
Thanks so much man. I don't what you did but as soon as I went on to play it today, the game worked and fast as anything too.
Huh, well I'm glad things seemed to work out for you buddy! Happy Fallout :-)
