The original Mod thread seems to be having some unanswered questions on updates and is old and bloated. So I have a few questions based on the most recent 1.2 version and with GoG Galaxy.

Does the GoG 1.2 version still need the child patch or any other patches that may not have been included still?

Also, once these patches are added, how do you make it as if we are still playing through Galaxy (and can still see the hours played) and not just desktop?
