I just stated to play fallout when this green colour problem rose. Basically as you can see in the linked picture some of the ground appears coated with a green sheet, and is clearl a glitch. Now I just want to clarify a few things that I have ruled out.

It's really hard to see in the attatched picture because of the size but in game it is really annoying the green is everywhere :(

Image:

1. With no modifcations to the GOG download this problem is here.

2. With all the correct unnofical and offical patches AND the high res mod patch this problem is still here.

3. I have tried compatibiltiy modes and such, still no luck.

4. I have tried using those pallate programs to make it compatible, no luck.

5. I have tried deleting the explorer while running this and still no luck.

This is really aggravating as Iv'e spent well over three hours searching for a soution and would really love it if anyone could help me out.

Yeah its REALLY difficult to see, if you concentrate on the ground you can see it, it's because I coulnd't upload a higher res pic due to gog restraints for some reason :S
Is it really that much of a problem if it is so hard to see? Just wondering.

I knew someone would say that :) well the thing is IN game it is soooo much more pronouced and utterly breaks immersion, it's really bad at night in game. If you want I could make a video and upload it to youtube, that would probably show it best. It's really bad lol like theres green grass growing everywhere. I have no idea whats causing it, fresh install, has it, patched and high res version has it :(

Ok, I just fired up F/O 1 (haven't played it in years), and that green is there in mine too. It's little green pixels that are obviously part of the low res graphics when you look closely. A bit like 32 bit images that get dithered to 16 colours. I'm quite sure it's not a bug.

I really don't know then. I would have suggested the high resolution patch, but you say you've already tried it, right?

What about your video card drivers. Have you considered either updating or rolling back to an older version? New drivers do tend to play havoc with old games at times. I had to roll back my nVidia drivers for that reason.

Just tried going back to the oldest driver I had. Lmao, same issue. I'm seriously getting to the end of my tether, I mean what else can I try, I'm running out of options :S
