Anyone else getting this issue or knows what's causing this?

Steam Public Beta... so it will probably take only a couple of years till the patch becomes available on gog.
Have you updated to version 1.0.1 yet?

Please update the game to version 1.0.1 and let us know if the black screen issue persists :)

Dinochimp: Still not working on update 1.0.2.

This is for a first time launch not a saved game if that makes any difference.

Where do I send the logs if you want them?
You can send me a link to the logs via PM with a description of the issue and some basic system info (OS, video card and video card driver version, RAM, basic stuff like that..) and I can forward them to the dev :)
