kt21: blah blah blah.

saying GOG doesn't care about their customers base on 1 minor issue just shows the kind of person you are in reality when in the past GOG has proven many times that they do care about their customers. you're acting like a self entitlement brat and think you are 100% perfect in every way and everything in reality.

Rubarack: There's a very important difference between saying GoG don't care about their customers (which they clearly do) and that GoG didn't care about their customers (which in this instance appears to be the case).

This is still the same company that turned out substantial free updates for the Witcher and dedicated a lot of energy to providing games without any form of DRM, but they clearly screwed up here and didn't even say why.

Anyway glad they finally managed to get a patch out, but I'm still going to be incredibly wary about buying new third party games from them in future.
You do realize that we test all the patches we receive and the bigger the game, the longer the tests are going to take, right? We really don't withhold anything from you guys as far as patches go.

gorkomatic: Still, proper communication is rather essential, isn't it?
We didn't know if you received the patch, if you were testing it and how long would it take.

All we knew is "everybody is playng the game except GOG users, who are left with game breaking bugs and no patch in sight".
I do apologize for any lapses in communication but rest assured we'll do our best to improve :)
