Deleted unneeded font/swf files since i only speak english and stuck on loading screen...

I'd say, reinstall for the easiest solution, as likely the loader is looking for packages and failing, and retrying, and failing and repeats that loop infinitely...

Could be something else, but this is currently sticking out to me.

Avogadro6: The current Gog build is 1.1.47, there's a new patch (1.1.50) underway and should be available as soon as Gog authorizes it. You can see the version of your copy on the bottom right corner of the splash screen, there was no need to reinstall.

And yes, fonts are needed even if you don't use the other languages. Don't delete them.
1.1.50 is live as of five minutes ago :)

Avogadro6: Ah, thanks. The gamecard is slightly inaccurate though:

Audio and text: český, Deutsch, English, 日本語, 한국어, русский. Text only: español, italiano

The game isn't voiced in any language, there's only text.

Sorry to OP for derailing, but I have no other suggestions other than what rtcvb32 said. It might be that the game is missing, or failing to find, the files loaded on startup.
