mrbestor: Hi I just purchased the game, I can load the game fine in to the game menu, I can change sound, mouse speed, 3d hardware ect ok, however resolution changes wont take affect.

However when I start the campaign I get the intro movie, then the game loads up, the bottom of the screen (you know map, selected unit info ect.) is in the middle of my monitor and flickers like crazy for about 5 / 10 seconds , then my whole computer freezes up whilst trying to burst my ear drums with a high pitch screeching sound.

I have to do a hard reboot to recover, and for some reason my windows task bar is on the right side of my right monitor every time I load windows after a reboot.

I have a feeling that the game is having issues running at the low resolution in full screen on my computer. Is there a way to run this game in windowed mode? i have looked through the ini but cannot see a windowed option.

can anyone help?
