I have 2 friends and we are trying to play a 3 person BG3 play-through. Only thing is every time we try and join each other it stays at 0% and ends up saying “ERROR joining failed connection failed”. Is this a problem on larians? Ps5? Is there a way to fix it?

" failed connection" translates as mods normally since you all need to be on the same build and having any mods on any PC system kicks you because the PS [or Xbox for that matter] can't use mods

the other thing it could be is a network port block which would be at the Larian server end but i'd assume mods first

Me and my two other friends are all on PlayStation 5.

This seems more like a Larian/Playstation server/network issue.
I think you would find more help on Larian's forums, Playstation forums or even the reddit sub.

so if none of you are on Gog PC then why ask us?

hf17 come out now making 2 major [untested] code changes to the save file system... its hoped dropping pets and zipping things up tighter will help
