vansen7: I've just received the redeem code, successfully installed it, and am starting to downloading it. Just wondering, if my friend purchased the game via Steam, would me and him be able to play together on it - with him from Steam and me from GoG.
Yup - if everything goes according to plan, in the coming weeks Steam version will be able to matchmake with GOG players (and vice versa)
