Once upon a time, all installers had a built checksum or hashing feature (don't know which), which is quite nice. This is especially good for those of us downloading the game directly from the website. For me, lgogdownloader doesn't work 80% of the time, Galaxy doesn't run in GNU/Linux, and neither does the original download client. I have to trust that the data was received without error, or that someone posted a hash or checksum somewhere.

Originally this was a feature, and it was removed. Why, I'm not sure. I can understand making it an option feature as opposed to something that is run each time, but complete removal? No, I can't understand it.

Please return this removed feature to the all GOG installers.
