E.g. Steam or Gameranger solution for GOG games with multiplayer, so there would be a possibility of playing with friends without hamachi or other not-always-working thing.

Asking for GOG to provide a service for server hosting kind of like Valve does for some games is quite an idea. I am not sure how to feel about it remembering how poorly GOG's content download network servers (CDN) work most of the time, it doesn't seem to be confident on doing that thing.
