This is generally the suggested quickfix for missing games, missing downloads, downloads not working, or just about anything related to the account games library.
Having a simple accessible button with the refresh functionality would be very helpful.

Weirdly enough, it's not just the games that are affected.. Today I noticed that the personalized background from my profile was gone. It was there yesterday! And the game the background came from was still in my library. After refresh, the background is there again.

For several weeks now updates are not showing in the library, you have to manually check the downloadable files for new versions!

I recently got affected by games not appearing on my shelf, no matter what I did.
This fixed it. Holy shit this should have a big noticeable button thing. Thanks for the information.

+1, I've recently been hit by this and was upset about a missing game all weekend; wish I had known about the refresh option. Still, this should only be an intermediate solution... gog should really just fix the library!
