Saamat Perish the thought and just be grateful we got D1. D2 will not come to GoG for 2 reasons:
1) Blizzard still sells D2 (called Diablo® II (2000)) at their own shop (€ 9.99) and gets 100% of revenue instead of having to share wiith GoG
2) For the sake oof renewing the copyright protection Bliizzaard issued D2 resurrected using several assets common with D2 2000, which effectively meanns that copyright protectioin is reenabled.
D3 will not come to GoG for at least 3 reasons:
- Blizzard considers D3 a failure
- first ad foremost - D3 is a DRM game - Bobby 'Greedmaster Disaster' Kotick made sure of that (no server - no play)
- Blizzard still sells D3 on their own, so there's no nneed for a 3rd party vendor like GoG

Diablo III i think will never hit, it requires an server emulation because the game itself doesnt store anything on how the game mechanics etc.. works.

for D2 OG, if you have the retail version, you can claim/redeem the CD-key on Blizzard/battle.net page and download a DRM free version for free.
for D3, forget it, it has the "always online connection DRM".

thirdful I only play Diablo I on my work lunch breaks on a small cheap laptop and honestly makes my work day better and something I now look forward to. I own the disc set for Diablo II, but would like a GoG copy as the physical disks are getting close to end of life and the GoG version would be better to use with the laptop.

Gameboytj It would be nice to see OG Diablo 2 and LoD on GOG, plus it would be easier for people who want to try out the Path of Diablo mod which is Basically Diablo II++ Or Median XL which is an overhaul of the game.
VirgilTheMad I would love this. I haven't cared about Bnet multiplayer for D2 since 2002 and while I still have the original version, it's prone to crashing in ways that never would have happened on older hardware especially when a lot of particle effects or mobs are on-screen at once. D2 was originally an extremely stable game.
I'd love to see it get the GoG love while leaving the essence of the game untouched. I have zero interest in D2R or any of Blizzard's offerings since Wrath of the Lich King.

tipulsar85 While it was made for online play, BattleNet was only one of several options for it at launch. And as for not being able to play via LAN, Icewind Dale 2 Complete and NWN 1 Diamond both still work with LAN today and were contemporary games with this.

arsenal45 Blizzard is selling Diablo 2 and LoD separated and not in 1 unit so I think that gog could sell them as 1 unit. Even so I don’t think Blizzard what to share it with us on gog in the nearest future. I would assume as jabba_cp said that we won’t get a multiplayer support on it if was on gog.
Miojo_Master Just finished Diablo 2 Remastered for the fifth time, and I still have not connected any Battle.Net shenanigans on my game (I played on PS4). Diablo 2 Remastered is a perfect game to bring to GOG. If the online parts make BattleNet mandatory, I say just bring the story mode here. For players like me, that's more than enough.

Miojo_Master Lot's of people here seem to be missing the point. We all know it is on Blizzard's BattleNet for sale. We all know that they have the original AND the remastered games there. Still, having the game on GOG would mean a lot for fans that don't want to depend on their launcher, or their BattleNet services. Sure, if the game arrived here, it probably would have to be without LAN or Bnet. SO BE IT. Let us play story mode, and that's it. For some of us, it's all we want.
zyusouken We can already play offline LAN and direct IP connect with friends. But I'd gladly re-buy it here as long as those features were intact.

Crazy_ChiefXxX you guys can still go to battle.net and still buy the CLASSIC installer for 10$ i got lucky and found a un touched copy of the 4 CD pack at a goodwill with ZERO scratches for 15 diablo II + LOD.
infyrin I'm going to say No to this one. There's already the remastered version and it's fine on Blizzard. I know you're asking for the original game because the first Diablo is on GOG. But, people know more of Diablo II than I and it stands to reason why Diablo I is on here.

This deal was there in the Blizzard store a few days ago, but I can't find it there now (but it might come back later there), but it's on the Microsoft store currently. Grab it before it disappears from there too!
I wish such attractive bundles would be available on GoG (GoG only has the original Diablo+Hellfire), but we know how Blizzard tends to behave, it is even a miracle they are/were selling such bundles at affordable prices. Blizzard is currently selling the Diablo Collection at $59.99, but I doubt most PC gamers would be willing to shell out such money in one go.
