Dedicated Servers Both Official and Rentable
Yes, Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005 need server rentable back. I would buy one or two immediately, and without dedicated servers, the multiplayer is laggy and dead...
Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005 need server rentable back. Over 100 players who want to buy are waiting for.
New update. Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII has officially been revealed and the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII on PC must have Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List if Activision and Treyarch ever release it for sale on gog.com. Seeing that Activision and Treyarch are not even releasing the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII for sale on Steam, but for now exclusively on their own Blizzard.net store I have no faith in this ever happening, this comment though to my wishlist is if Activision and Treyarch ever do release the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII for sale on gog.com it must have Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List for both Ranked Servers and Unranked Servers.
as so far it's a lot of sucks with this mp in cod ww2 I shoot people from close range, pack the whole magazine and they will turn away as if nothing ever happened to me with 2 bullets killing me! wtf! you need servery for this game! that's my opinion
New updates. SQUARE-ENIX added multiplayer to Final Fantasy XV in one of the updates lately and SQUARE-ENIX will release Final Fantasy XV for sale for PC in 2018, if SQUARE-ENIX releases the PC version of Final Fantasy XV for sale on gog.com the PC version of Final Fantasy XV multiplayer needs to have Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List. The PC version of Call of Duty: WWII on PC does not have A Server Browser List, but in a patch Activision, Sledgehammer, and Raven said that Call of Duty: WWII supports Dedicated Servers, if Activision, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven releases the PC version of Call of Duty: WWII for sale on gog.com Activision, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven needs to add A Server Browser List.
Absolutely needs to happen, the current match making model is a massive turn off for me
please make this happen , make call of duty great again on PC as well
Yes , dedicated servers are a must. Developers saying it is not are lying. developers saying it is expensive are also lying. Even if they do not give us dedicated servers , why do they not give us the option to set our own servers up. From money lover ubisofts point of view , the reason they do not give players dedicated servers are obvious. But how can giving players the option to have private dedicated servers can cost money? Other than coding that feature.
Another update. The PC version of Far Cry 5 will not have Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List on PC on 2 player co-op. If Ubisoft will ever sell the PC version of Far Cry 5 on gog.com, Ubisoft needs to add Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List to the PC version of Far Cry 5 on PC before selling Far Cry 5 on PC, 2 player co-op is ok and all, but I want to find servers with either 6 players vs. 6 players, 8 players vs. 8 players or 32 players vs. 32 players. Only fighting video games like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter I'm ok with 2 players. Far Cry 5 doesn't need 32 players vs. 32 players, 6 players vs. 6 players is fine or 8 vs. 8 players is fine as well because the maps will not be designed big enough for 64 players.
New updates for more PC versions of video games that have multiplayer that don't have Dedicated Servers or A Server Browser List and use Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking instead. The PC version of Diablo III doesn't have A Server Browser List. I don't know if the PC version of Diablo III uses Dedicated Servers, the PC version of For Honor on PC doesn't have support for Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List, the PC version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands doesn't have support for Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List, the PC version of Mass Effect: Andromeda doesn't have support for Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List. If all four of the PC versions of these video games get released for sale on gog.com. Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts (EA), and Ubisoft need to add support for Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List to the PC versions of these four video games before they get released for sale on gog.com. I'm sick and tire of a lot of lag and poor connections and people disconnecting and losing connections because of Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking. Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List will guarantee you to find a server of your choosing that can be set up to run 24/7 and can give us PC gamers the choice to Rent Dedicated Servers as well if we want to to have our own servers running 24/7.
i wish for dedicated servers
New updates. The PC version of DOOM (2016) does not have A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer, I hope that Bethesda Softworks and iD Software adds A Server Browser List to the PC version of DOOM (2016's) multiplayer on PC before they release it for sale on gog.com. Shadow Warrior 2 doesn't seem to have A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer, I hope Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog add it in a patch for Shadow Warrior 2. The PC version of TitanFall 2 also does not have A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer, I hope that Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn Entertainment add A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer on PC before they release it for sale on gog.com. The PC version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PC doesn't seem to have A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer, I hope that Activision, Infinity Ward, and Raven adds A Server Browser List to it's multiplayer on PC before releasing it for sale on gog.com. The PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC doesn't seem to have A Server Browser List for it's multiplayer, while the original 2007 PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on PC does, I hope that Activision, Infinity Ward, and Raven adds A Server Browser List to it's multiplayer on PC before releasing it for sale on gog.com.
I'd love to be able to easily play Dark Forces II multiplayer.
New updates with PC versions of video games that don't have Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List that I hope Activision, Electronic Arts (EA), Psyonix Rockstar, SQUARE-ENIX, and Ubisoft comply with before they release them for sale on gog.com. The PC version of Grand Theft Auto which I forgot to include has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like Rockstar to add these for the PC version for it's multiplayer before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Mass Effect 3 has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like Electronic Arts (EA) to add these for the PC version before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Rocket League has no Server Browser List I would like Psyonix to release it with these before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Singularity has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like Activision to release it with these before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Tomb Raider (2013 has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like SQUARE-ENIX to add these before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like Ubisoft to add these before releasing it for sale on gog.com, the PC version of Tom Clancy's The Division has no Dedicated Servers and no Server Browser List I would like Ubisoft to add these before releasing it for sale on gog.com. The PC version of TitanFall I'm not sure if it has Dedicated Servers or not, but it does not have A S Server Browser List and I would like Electronic Arts (EA) to add this or these before releasing it for sale on gog.com.
Provide AMI for people to setup their own Amazon EC2 instances. Let each pay his own way or not for not-using.
This is a good idea.
I think you mean rather *than*. But yes, providing dedicated server software as a goodie would go a long way toward promoting the games that have multiplayer, which means more sales. Especially for games like Nox that had well balanced and extremely popular multiplay when the publisher supported it but which has been hard for the playerbase to maintain since. Then there are all the Good Old Games that natively only networked over IPX/SPX: without handholding for today's users on modern OSes and IP networks, multiplayer for such games is impossible. I can understand if GOG are reluctant to provide tech support / money-back guarantee for dedicated server goodies though!!
Rather then just rentable I'd like to see the server files themselves released as an optional download (like how you do with wallpapers and other goodies) so those of us with our own servers etc can also run them. I also push for linux files when releasing them instead of just windows.
I forgot to include from the news of the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops III what I read yesterday. www.ign.com/articles/2015/11/02/call-of-duty-black-ops-3-on-pc-to-introduce-modding-and-mapping-in-2016 community.treyarch.com/community/treyarch/blog/2015/11/02/modding-mapping-tools-coming-to-black-ops-3-pc-in-2016 www.pcgamer.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-3-will-get-modding-and-mapping-tools-next-year/ It's progress, but we still want our Rentable Ranked Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List as well.
WOW! I didn't expect this, I would like to do a big update of stuff I have compiled over the last few months and a shout out to Tunnleram.
First of all I don't want to see Dedicated Servers tied to GoG Galaxy or a requirement for GoG Galaxy in order to play PC versions of video games that have multiplayer.
I made this wishlist for gog.com employees to get video game publishing companies like Activision, Electronic Arts (EA), and SQUARE-ENIX to agree to gog.com's agreements and release the PC versions of their video games that have multiplayer like this. So the PC versions of the Call of Duty video games since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have no Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List (Minus the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops which does.). The PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 uses Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking and has no Dedicated Servers or A Server Browser List. I would like to see the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with A server Browser List if Activision ever sells it on gog.com, the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking as default and Rentable Unranked Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List. I would like to see Rentable Ranked Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 if Activision ever decides to sell it on gog.com, the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II has no Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with a Server Browser List, but does have Dedicated Servers with matchmaking. I would like to see the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II have Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with a Server Browser List if Activision ever sells it on gog.com, the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts has no Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with a Server Browser List and instead uses some hybrid Dedicated Servers or something like that with Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking. I would like to see the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III have Rentable Ranked and Unranked Dedicated Servers with A server Browser List if Activision ever sells them on gog.com. Electronic Arts (EA) or DICE has said that the PC version of Star Wars Battlefront, will not have Rentable Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List and only use Dedicated Servers with matchmaking. I would like to see the PC version of Star Wars Battlefront have Rentable Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List if Electronic Arts (EA) ever decides to sell it on gog.com. Ubisoft's PC versions of Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 don't have Rentable Dedicated Servers with A Server Browser List and use matchmaking. I would like to see the PC versions of Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 have Rentable Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List if Ubisoft ever sells them on gog.com. Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V Online has no Rentable Dedicated Servers with a Browser List. I would like the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V if Rockstar ever sells it on gog.com to have Rentable Dedicated Servers and A Server Browser List. Please gog.com employees make sure PC versions of video games with multiplayer getting sold on gog.com have optimized net code and all this stuff I ask for and many other PC gamers want. PC gamers are getting annoyed by Peer to Peer (P2P) and matchmaking. As for fighting video games that have multiplayer like 2 player or 4 player. I have no comment on that. The same thing goes for Co-op or video games that have Co-op only I have no comment on that as well. I will update this with more video games that have multiplayr
For PC gaming there's no doubt that dedicated servers, rental dedicated servers has always been a way of life. This has been changing over the years and many of us don't like it as it degrades performance and removes the ability to control your gaming experience.
If gog is able to solve this, why would anyone be against it? Having control over this process would be nice.
Half the time in most games I spend more time trying to play with friends than actually playing due to matchmaking.
Yearghhhhhhhhhh i'm in dedicated wins my heart + lan.
Wishlisted!!. Since I'll be leaving Steam soon due to so many problems. I can say I was one of them people who bought cod mw2 then got pissed and joined that one failed cod mw2 dedicated server petition.
You have no idea how many botters exist and get a nuke quickly because it runs on p2p.
P2P SUCKS NUFF SAID! DEDICATED SERVERS ARE LIFE ON PC!!!!!!
If mw2 ever comes to go I say do not allow it wit p2p and matchmaking :D.
i get it, this way using the gog games people or a bucnh of friends can create friends only gaming/lan parties via a rented server.
thats a very good suggestion.
it seems to be used alot, cause when i played ogame(browsergame)
lots of guys had a own rented space and were playing an open source ogameversion (invite only)
so its logical to include this option.
