Sadly, game crashes quite often and seems it does it at random intervals.. I might have noticed that the ones occuring now are happening earlier from starting the game than the ones I had the first few days. Then it crashed ~ every 1.5 hrs, now it does it 10-20mins after I start game.

I have the experimental high-res patch installed aswell, but I don't think it has anything to do with this problem.

Is there a solution I couldn't find yet to avoid these crashes, or I have to live with this? What might cause this anyway?

I've been experiencing the same issue as renthicya even before I applied the high-res patch, so I don't think that's the problem.

I'm running on Win 7 Pro x64, and I can't play more than ~30 min or so of Outcast before I start to experience significant slow downs in the framerate. If I keep playing even after the slowdown starts to get back, OC3.exe will crash.

I've made a thread on this forum discussing the issue, but no answer has emerged even after months.

A few weeks ago, I sent an email to GOG support. I've received no reply to it, either.

I'm guessing this issue isn't going to get fixed :/
