Since XIII's capture, the investigation hasn't progressed very fast. As the captive resists quite well to our interrogation techniques, we still lack some key elements to complete his dossier, and the codes necessary to access some important data.

This is an extremely complex case, and a lot of elements are needed in order to crack it. In order to complete the investigation, the following informations are still needed :

In 1967, in the secret information/reeducation camp codenamed "the Village", an experimental supercomputer was used for various applications of information processing (education, indoctrination, investigation). What was the codename of that computer ?

We need to find the name of a former detective who has worked for Interect, under the supervision of Mr Lew Wickersham, around 1970.

We know that in 1995, because of a communication glitch, an american Ohio-class submarine almost fired a series of nuclear warheads at a russian installation. This was averted by a mutinery, and the story never leaked to the public. We need the name of that submarine.

We have to identify the private company that is being used as a cover by MI6 operative J. Bond (presumed code 007). All we know is that it probably deals with international trade.

We need the name of the british operative who confronted and neutralized an ex-nazi leader known as "Oktober" in Berlin, around 1966.

What organisation employed both N. Solo (US) and I. Kuryakin (Georgia) as undercover agents during the 60s.

We need to know the exact number of members in the Treadstone secret program.

If the disapearance of MI6 operative John Drake is actually linked to a secret detention and interrogation program, under what matricule would he be most likely to be found there ?

We have to identify the completely carbonized body that we have found in the swamps of Crab Key island.

We must determine how many times the british spy J. Bond has collaborated with russian mob leader and trafficker Valentin Zukovsky.

Around 1970, a department of Interpol was in charge of investigating criminal and national security cases that were considered as too out-of-the-ordinary for the regular departments. We need its designation letter.

In 1967, the british secret services have involved a cosmetic surgeon in the investigation of a spy's assassination. This surgeon had developed a hypnothism technique that has proven indirectly useful in neutralising an international criminal organisation based in Switzerland. We need now the name of that surgeon.

We must determine how many people are known to have been closely and regularly cooperating with agent J. Steed on the field.

A few babies who had survived from nazi experimental research on steroids have developed an abnormally high level of intelligence, yet have been showing psychopathic tendencies. One of them has served in the KGB before going in the private sector (possibly in computer hardware design/manufacturing). We have to identify him and/or his company.

We suspect Maxwell Smart to be spying for a secret organisation, but we have to determine which one.

We need the name of the british agent who had found a way to overcome the "induction of psychoneuroses by conditioned reflex under stress" when he had been forcefully submitted to the procedure.

Normally, these pieces of information should be sufficient to piece together the forgotten story behind XIII's confusing activities, and, hopefully, to retrieve at last his officially inexistant records.

Okay. Thank you very much sir. I just redeemed the code after some Google research. Phew... I cracked the code, I feel like Jason Bourne!!! :)

I've learned quite a few things in the process: for example, Sean Connery has brother who played in a spy movie too! Awesome.

Well if anyone is interested in the answers I can provide them.

It's an awesome gift as the game is not purchasable anymore. K+++ for you.

These would be interesting.

And thanks for the drop, telika! XIII is a true collectible, hope people are enjoying it. Or are they keeping it on their shelf, in mint unopened condition :P

I think it's 9. Actually it t was one of the few I didn't know (I had to do some research myself, as I wasn't an Avengers fan - in fact I had checked it when looking for questions for "8", so I was lucky to need a "9" elsewhere), but Aymerict had got it right, as he managed to redeem the game.

And yes, I have made it a work-for-it giveaway, as XIII codes are rare now, and I wanted it taken by someone motivated.

Was fast, though. Nice.

I had to try several numbers because I didn't have a definitive answer from different sources for this one. It's probably 9 then, I remember I tried that too.

For several answers, I was wrong the first time, like the number of Treadstone agents, so I had to check my answers and correct them.

But in the end, after some struggle, the game appeared... The precious!!! Wonderful sense of achievement.

So thanks again Telika, I appreciate.
This was really nicely done, Telika.

It's good to see a puzzle that emphasizes research rather than intuition. Opens up the puzzle field to more players!
