Sorry for the lack of updates. I've put the website on-hold for now as I need to concentrate on finding a new job!

I'm a definate maybe now. The company I work for has been bought out by an investment firm, so I'll find out in march or so what that means for me.

Right, time for a long overdue update.
Unfortunately, I've had to put the planning for Kilimanjaro on the backburner for now, since my main priority at the moment is finding a new job, which I'm taking my time over since I received a substantial amount of compensation when my office was closed down in April. While I've got a nice healthy bank balance, I'm using this as an opportunity to find a job that I'm actually interested in, rather than taking any old thing just to pay the bills.
As soon as I do have a regular income again, I'll get back to organising the Kilimanjaro expedition again, but for the time being, I'm afraid it's watch this space.
The good news is that I am going to attempt to climb Ben Nevis (the highest peak in the United Kingdom) next month; sometime around 23 August to be precise (depending on weather) - while not anywhere near the scale of Kilimanjaro, there's actually more climbing to do on a single day than there would be to reach the 'Roof of Africa' (which would be done over the course of 8 - 12 days)!
So yes, Kilimanjaro is still happening, and as soon as I am back in full-time employment, the final planning stages will commence!
