Nope, not a damn thing :p. For one moment i thought i knew The Vampire Lestat, but i only know "Lestat" from an episode in the PC game "Nocturne" (Great survival horror-kinda like game), which includes vampires in Germany. I'm not a vampire fan actually nor a reader, so maybe that justifies my ignorance on the matter (no matter how popular it is among those circles or beyond).

I'm a monster lover though, enjoying both old Universal and new Horror movies (also a huge Hammer Horror films admirer) and anything morbid.

If they can wrangle Mage: The Ascension into it, I might have a throw at it. I really haven't had as good a time with a Funcom game as with Anarchy Online.

Initially they'll have vampires and humans, but they said they want to add werewolves,mages,hunters and geists.

From my experience with WoD, it's horrid in large groups, a small group with a great ST can really make the system shine but I played in a WoD LARP in collage and it was probably the worst RP experience I've had, all people wanted to do was grief each other because there's nothing to do. Also you need an intimate (close to the player's character) story to make WoD themes to work.

CCP also seems to design their MMOs to be a griefers Paradise, EVE has targeted the niche of gamers that missed Ultima's online PK system and leaves a very ugly community and they even let a troll group destroy the economy of their game. I don't think there's a game I could be less excited about than a VT:M or VT:R MMO.

Yes, yet CCP has confirmed the permadeath feature for the griefers. Whoever is misbehaving on a steady basis, will get executed (even if he's been flagged non-pvp) and lose his character and skills.
It's violation of the masquarade after all.

The only vampire that was exposed to the sun was Lestat, IIRC, and he survived due to him being very, very powerful....

Not quite, if memory served Lastat had running in his vains Blood from the first two Vampires which allows for regeration.

Is that what it was? Hmmmm. Might have to reread the books one day because I didn't remember the exact details as to why.

Yeah he mentions it in "The Vampire Lestat" when he was filling his part in the events from Interview with a Vampire after Louis and Claudia attempted to kill him and he went to France to meet with Armand as Armand also had some of that blood running through him.
