Most of us, I think. I'm downloading now and will be switching to it as my main OS (XP and data will be on my old HD "just in case").

Kewl, can you let me know of any problems? I wont be jumping to win7 until i absolutely have to. XP is just great and enough for me so far.

Considering I am running the beta as my main OS ( in fact, my only OS at the moment ) I definately do not have an calms about not jumping over to RC :)

The xp mode is supposed to be an additional download.
Its times like this that I REALLY miss not having a real computer. I'd just whack in one of my spare HDDs and install 7 for a look but its a bit too complicated with my laptop being my only PC.
Whats the install size? I've read that they wanted to make it smaller than vista but then a mate told me the other day that his install was 20gb!

The download is less than 3 GB, but it states it needs at least 19 GB to install.

Edit: Ok, I guess it may not include XP virtual mode as I couldnt find any information on the link provided. I had been reading on some RC experiences where they were talking about XP mode, but maybe these guys got an extended version for testing ;(
As for the install size, yes its 16GB+, but Im sure that is going to decrease. I know that the beta included debugger information which would increase size, and although I am not certain if a RC would actually include that ( considering its supposed to be close to release status ) Im still certain its more bloated than what the final install size is.
Besides in this day and age, what is 20gb but a mere darkened corner in the big house of HD ;)

I was under the impression that wouldn't be coming til the final version..pretty sure that's the case.

I installed the beta on a swap partition and it actually only took up like 10gb maybe? Maybe even less? But it says it needs 16 (20 for 64-bit).
