You're wrong, you're badly wrong.... the Windows Vista/Seven core is DRM AT ITS BONES, with technologies like Protected Media Path to route multimedia fluxes through a completely secure (and closed) route within the system, and much more.....
Vista sucks so badly (and so will be Seven, because they are the same thing at their core, leave it or live with it) just because of this: Microsoft finally sold its ass to the majors. End of the story.
The StarForce driver didn't install simply because it's a non plug-and-play service, it installs itself in a way that normal users and windows applications won't remove it so easily. That's it, this finding is not interesting at all. It simply demonstrates that the videogame industry assholes will have to update their shitware, nothing more, nothing less....
