AstralWanderer: Rather a pricey item this (US$2,375+ ow!) but the B9Creator High Resolution 3D Printer looks to be an ultimate model-making toy...
Maybe start with Printrbot. It was a hugely successful Kickstarter (the first time I learned of the site, although I didn't pledge to a project until DFA), and it's a nice printer. Not the same accuracy as the B9Creator, though.

Regarding Inner Dream, I ran the free first part, and the problem with it is that it's in Russian. There are English subtitles (not always that good), but the narration is only in Russian. I think that with English narration is could actually be an interesting experience.

Might as well remove Jane Jensen's KS since it's funded and closed now...

Or link to the page on her site, since it's still possible to pledge using PayPal until the 25th.

Feeling rather blue today? Congrats! :-D
Another couple of board game projects to consider:

The Reliquary Collection (a collection of retro boardgames should suit a retro PC games site!)
Hoplomachus - The Lost Cities (offering solo as well as multiplayer gladiatorial action!)

Hoplomachus looks particularly interesting, with KS-extras and an interesting set of stretch goals (at one meeelion dollars, everyone gets a real lion to spar with!!...).

Cool stuff. Added Hexy, Pinball Arcade, Hoplomachus.

That Drakodex Laser-Cut "Miniatures" project is outrageous though. How dare they pass stickers off as miniatures.

They are cheap though ($1/piece at minimum pledge plus postage).

A few more toys to look at...

Boardgames:
The Cyberbully Board Game (Jun 15)
Tammany Hall (Jun 16)
Disaster Looms! (Jun 18)
Tahiti - board game (Jun 19)
MEGAcquire - An Enhanced Adventure Into High Finance (Jun 21)

Accessories:
Laser Cut Game Parts and Accessories (Jun 5)
Dragonshire E-Z Lock Building Construction Set (Jun 9)
Added the thread into the sticky.
How about Space Command ?

Not one film, not two, but a series of sci--fi films produced by Marc Zicree ( former Star Trek writer ), Doug Drexler ( visual effects on Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica ).

They promised to bing in many of their friends, including SF fans well known actors like Robert Picardo ( Star Trek Voyager, Stargate Atlantis ).

Project already funded / end July 15.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/58936338/space-command <- kitsch inside :D

In their latest update they plan for a 10.3 MILLIONS $ stretch goal.
Don't know if they're serious. They should add some pebble watch as reward...

Given how many of the pledge levels include the backer's name in the end credits, they should include a pillow for those prepared to sit through them (and I thought Lord of the Rings' 10-15 minute credit list was bad enough).

Looks like it could be interesting though (Marc Zicree did write one Babylon 5 episode) and my boycott of MPAA/RIAA products means I've something to spare on this! Good catch.
So has the flow of new and interesting indie games kinda slowed down on KS now? :P.

I actually hope so as I'm pretty much out of pledge funds for forseenable future (at best I could scrape together few 10-15$ pledges). Xenonauts is my last planned pledge for this year and due to lack of interesting pledge levels it'll just be 20$ for the game.

Bit off topic but has Firaxis revealed wether or not it's XCOM remake will be Steam exlusive?

Yeah too many KS projects. Too little money lol

I would hazard to guess it will most likely be on Steam. They aren't and indie... so will likely follow what the publisher wants sadly...
