Starmaker: They stated outright they can do everything they planned for $200-300k. The rest is collectables. HOLY SHIT.
So they just need to drop collectables, and offer digital rewards (soundtrack, wallpapers, for upper rewards they coould name characters after backers name etc.).
Shadowrun has really taken up now towards the end. Looks like they're going to hit the 1.75M mark as well.

I didn't even know what it was, but I trust the internets enough to throw down $50 on it.

Just FYI, the only difference between the $30 and $50 tiers is the soundtrack, so the $50 level is a little weak imo.

Technically, we should already be there as there are PayPal donations that aren't factored into that total. But, with $50k left to go at the rate their going, I think they should be able to do it.

I wish, I had the money to upgrade my pledge.

I guess, only $43k left to go.

I feel sad for Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective´s failure.

Me too, though tbh things could have looked up had Dave kept up with regular updates. The project was practically left to die. What gives?
Drowned in all the others. He should try again later this year or something.

There's 40k (or more) on Paypal, so wotj 1.712M on kickstarter atm, we have 1.75M

There's some ambiguity there. The money will be used on development, but they waited to declare the $1.5m mark until the KS page reflected it. But, I think that it's more accurate to say that it's $1.75m and I doubt the fans will allow them to get away with counting it as just the KS total.

But they said already that on Paypal it's more 40k, and they'll count that in.

last update:
There's 15 hours left and about $233k to go to hit $2m, seems like a bit of a stretch - but you guys have amazed us before so it could happen.

I probably missed that. I probably should have also said that it was probably coincidental about the timing.

Ultimately, things like this aren't going to be fixed until Amazon allows payment by PayPal or provides some other means for people that can't use Amazon's pay service.
This looks interesting but... they need too much money.

It has already been mentioned and included in the first post.

The guy's amazing, though. "Hey there - back before you were even born, I've decided to use computers as means of interactive narration. Now that they can do a heck of a lot more, I've decided to reshape my previous creation into an even richer and more beautiful game."

hedwards: I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned it, but Ogre looks pretty cool. I don't have money to back it, but perhaps some people are interested.

lowyhong: I forgot to add this. Thanks for reminding me. I still don't know why Steve just can't find a reasonable international shipping solution. A guy with a name as big as his should have some contacts.
The problem likely isn't lack of contacts, it's trying to find a shipping method that's going to be affordable. You're talking about a 14 pound box that looks like it's about 2 and a half feet by 2 and a half feet. That's not going to be cheap to ship.
