The timed exclusivity thing was my preferred way of dealing with it. I think backers should get something, but I don't think people should be punished for not knowing that there was a kickstarter option.
They take PayPal now? One of the serious issues I have with Kickstarter is that it's Amazon only. I hate PayPal, but unfortunately, it's the most widely used form of payment for this sort of thing other than just a standard CC form.

There's a few on the list that have now finished and therefore can't be funded anymore (banner saga, the first 3 or so books, etc). Might be worth clearing them out now that no-one can pledge to them.
