This week's and updated [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/what_kickstarter_projects_are_worth_taking_note_of/post1]OP after much deliberation. Void Destroyer is the special mention this week.

It's like the release of video games on kick starter has practically stopped since Massive Chalice came out, they were coming out in bulk before, now it's barely moving :)

Game is suppose to be similar to road rash series.. just barely got funded.. lets see how it will be after release date..

Armikrog is probably going to be the biggest project of the year for me, must happen!

I didn't play AVS but always like seeing adventure game projects. However this one seems to be struggling early.

Kingsport got funded but only after the developers contributed $8,000 of their own money.

While they deserve kudos for being upfront about it, it does seem to undermine the point of KS somewhat.

"Unfortunately, if the Kickstarter fails, The Kingsport Cases will not be made and in fact, Machines in Motion might have to close its doors. Naturally, we don’t want that to happen, so we’ve decided to see the Kickstarter the rest of the way ourselves."

very good reason to top up and as they pointed out seems to be something under KS rules you are allowed to do.
Im almost sure some other KS have had devs contribute their own money as well...so not sure it would a first time thing

I'm pretty sure that this is explicitly forbidden by Kickstarter (for very good reasons).

Been watching this gamebook KS for a while - until some writing samples appeared I was reluctant to mention it, but there are now several pages which look encouraging:
