It's choose-your-own-adventure erotica... he needs to get out more, maybe for a choose-his-own-adventure one-night stand.

Fantasyche: Mike - A Two-tier game dealing with Escapism

A 2D RPG about a guy with depression who battles in real life with enemies like 'Guilt' and other emotions (in turn based combat!) and escapes in his mind to a fantasy kingdom where he does other battles.

It's by Ross Tunney whose Data Hacker Initiation project I backed in the past. He's done a very good job with that one, being very responsive to backers and releasing versions regularly, and I expect that to continue with this game.

Anyone who backed Legends of Dawn should check out their update:

"Yet another unexpected and important job is in front of us; Many backers requested the game through GoG and we were already in discussions with them about releasing Legends of Dawn on their platform. However they request that the game should be playable 100% in off-line mode. Legends of Dawn isn't online game however we built it in a such a way that the game requests an IP so the computer has to be connected to router when starting the game. Afterwards the connection isn't needed however this is a limitation that they do not want so as soon as we test the achievement system we'll work on that."

They promised a DRM-free game in their pitch and it's a single-player game. It's good they're working on solving the problem, but that they didn't realize there was one until GOG pointed it out doesn't fill me with confidence.

Yes, it feels as if they were trying to sneak DRM in, in spite of their promise. If it was intended to include this IP-checking as DRM, while arguing "our DRM is not DRM. I'ts an online 'feature' " like EA does, then it really is a confidence breaker. If it was not intended as DRM, then this was a very big and unnecessary oversight. Which also leaves a bad impression, though not as bad as if it was intentional.

In any case: it is great that Gog pointed it out and is adamant about removing this compulsory-online 'feature'. Go Gog! Keep fighting for truly DRM free games and thank you for holding Dreamatrix/Aurofinity to their promise!

JaqFrost: it out doesn't fill me with confidence.
It does fill me with confidence. The fact that they're open about it and say up front that it's important for them means that they care about their backers. What are you not confident in?
