rodrolliv: Regarding CONSORTIUM, which is already funded, I'm glad the devs have indicated the delay that a stretch goal would cause. Not every developer clarifies this.
avatar
Reever: But to be honest, that's something backers could realize by themselves, don't you think? Usually they say how long the base game would take, the stretch goals can only make it take longer (well, if you don't get a bigger team at the same time. And even then it will probably take longer, like with Torment..).

It's still good they stated it though. This way nobody can say they didn't keep their word or something :D

Any interest in Planet Explorers?
Nope :D

Sure, but it's one of those obvious things that backers fail to realize at first, I imagine because of the exciment for the product. But it seems a lot of devs at least offer them alphas/betas in the mean time, or in the case of Planet Explorers, a public version to try.

Also, coverage by RockPaperShotgun.

Oh, didn't know they got media coverage :D Also wrote to the devs about getting the game on GOG, they said they haven't really thought about where to sell it yet, but they'll try to make it available everywhere.

And by the way, for those who are put off by the many stretch goals: In the update the devs said they believe "you either do all or not", so most of the goals (save the last 2) will probably be implemented anyway if the game gets funded!

Thanks!
DreadOut tweaked their $150 tier with a physical copy of the game as well as other physical items (bag, t-shirts, pins & stuff). Still too expensive, in my eyes (Asylum had a similar pack for $50 less, I believe), but it makes it more appeasing than simply getting a name/face in the game.

They need to work out the rest of their tiers, not just the expensive ones...

Nice to see the list back in action! Thanks for the hard work and welcome back. :)

*heads off to KickTraq to prepare another KS list*

Silverball (behind the failed Pro Pinball KS) have just posted an update:

"Silverball Studios have now joined forces with Barnstorm Games and we'll be launching a 'Pro Pinball: Timeshock!- The ULTRA Edition' Kickstarter just as soon as we can. In the meantime, here's a WIP shot..."

Pinball lovers, ready your wallets!

A Small Favor: a 2D side-scroller adventure game which seems to be interesting. For 6$ you get a copy of the game (DRM-Free, early bid), 10$ you get the same (if the 6$ copies are all out) and for 20$ you get the game, its soundtrack, its artbook and a copy of their previous game.
I don't understand people who goes to crowfunding with a game using a very expensive engine: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nyteckgames/nexless

Because it's not. It's free to develop for, and you only need to pay royalties (20%). If you want to create a good looking 3D game this sounds like a pretty good deal.
Team Pixel wasn't able to get the Homeworld IP, refunds are being arranged through here:
