Symbiosis : http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/570044257/symbiosis-a-creative-commons-art-book

It is about a Creative Commons art book set in an universe from the comics artist Steven Sanders. The illustrations are set in "a world where all technology is powered by biological engines that are deeply linked to humans".

It is not about video games but this work can be used by anyone, including artists or role playing gamers. Rather those who like the pen & paper ones but Symbiosis seems to provide enough rich material to any game designer or C-RPG lover.

Plus, in my opinion, the drawings are fabulous and the art direction very original : the author evokes "1940s era bio-punk"

I'm so excited for Wasteland 2 to be released, I don't think they are taking donations any more (Someone please clarify this), because if they are... MAN! I'm going to be loosening my wallet!

amok: I liked the premiss of this one, to bad it seems no one knows about it. The demo is very very rough, but with some polish this can be a game right up my street.
We know it's rough, but we will polish it up nice and shiny :)
New projects:

Victory, a World War II, team-based, action-strategy game where you collect companies of units and battle in quick online matches and is from Petroglyph. The only problem to me is being MP-only...

Bloom: Memories - One of a Kind Action Adventure / RPG, isometric action adventure / rpg for Windows and Mac. They're back for their second attempt, with a change of the main character
So many awesome Kickstarter projects. I am so happy i decided to get into PC gaming after 15 damn years of console gaming. Best gaming related decision i ever made. All the indie, Kickstarter, and obscure niche games that would never appear on consoles are here, and i love it :D.
Strategizer: Art of Defense, a RTS/tower defense

Also, it features microtransactions. "Everything in the game can be obtained with in-game currency, but you'll be able to spend real world money as well".

It even looks like it'll go free to play/pay to win at some point, because they specify it will not be free to play "at launch" (naturally, since a copy of the game is one of the rewards).

No thanks, Petroglyph, please don't pollute Kickstarter with this kind of shit.

Similar thoughts here. There are some great games among those that the team (or members of the team) worked on previously, but this one does not appeal to me at all...
Round 2 for Ritual Dementia : http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1957041092/ritual-dementia-the-revenge

The 1st attempt only raised ~$4000 of the $10,000 needed. hopefully with a lowered goal of $7000 this one will succeed.

It keeps amazing me how much life the idea of zombies has in it. I thought it would die in 2011, but it just keep coming back.
