Here is a Kickstarterproject for the lovers of Allister Brimbles Amiga gamemusic:

The Amiga Works
Updated

And here's Hegemonic, a 4X board game with a space setting.

After asking x amount of times looks like a DRM free version of Strike Suit Zero will happen. I wish certain devs for kickstarters would make it clear whether there will be DRM free versions BEFORE the KS finishes (im looking at you StarCommand).
Two million dollars to save Interplay, no thanks. If this project brought back SSI or New World Computing, I would totally be on-board. I know SSI technically exists, but most of old IP's were discarded a long time ago.
The Black Isle fundraising made me grin, as for Interplay it's sometimes best to let things go for good.

On a positive note Scroll Ninja looks nice!
Boardgames:
Quantum Expanse Space Fleet Miniatures Game (Jan 15)
An update on their successful Starfire Command KS - sadly the models don't seem to have gotten any cheaper.
Battle Tank: Escape from Giant Robot Island (Jan 18)
Model tanks, procedurally generated island (well OK, it's just 7 pieces, but hey, that's 6 more than most boardgames!) and an Evil Genius!

PC:
Dark Asylum (Jan 1)
Horror point-and-click adventure - has budget planned down to the tea-making equipment!
Anima - Gate of Memories (Jan 14)
A good looking RPG with an in-depth story.
RUN FOR MONEY (Jan 30)
A crime simulator with a procedurally-generated city.
PerfectGolf (Feb 4)
Hey, who said golf died out with Links?

Accessories:
Wargame, Roleplaying and Model Railroad Terrain (Jan 20)
Modular terrain with a "Mirkwood Forest" pledge level!
Pirate Coins (Jan 21)
Yarrgh! Who could resist these, without being made to walk the plank? Har har!
Super 3D Dungeon Boards (Jan 29)
Just look at those pictures...
Crafthulhu Card Holders/Displays & Component Trays (Jan 31)
If it's got tentacles, flog it!

And best of all *big drumroll* Synnibarr is back and funded - nothing can stop those lazer grizzlies now! (those unfamiliar may wish to check the previous project and SomethingAwful's review of the original).

Predestination is in its final few hours - for those who've not checked it out yet it looks to be one of the most interesting 4X space strategy projects on Kickstarter (with colonisation seeming to offer more detail than most other games). They also have a "Bring Your Own Bomb" $75 pledge level (where you can design a planetary missile) which is available to other levels for $35 extra.

Larry Elmore's Artbook will be finishing in a few days and has passed all its stretch goals (at least, the announced ones). It will be 336 pages long (rather than 256 or 304) as a result. Some extra options have been added (an extra copy of the book for $49 being the latest).

Still think the shipping is way too high for the artbook

Upped my pledge on Predestination :)

Good on you, me too - went for the BYOB offer. They're so close to $50K it would be a shame to fall short.
Thanks for the love, folks! Hope you're all enjoying the final hour perks!

$49,899? Does that count as reaching $50k or not (if you include paypal)?
Either way, congratulations. I'll look forward to your game's release.

On another note, telepath tactics has only 12 hours left and almost $10k to go, so they're unlikely to make it, but still now would be a good time to pledge if you're interested in it.
You never know it might get a big late push.

Also, I've noticed Meriwether wasn't on the list. Any reason why?
It seems like a pretty interesting project to me, but then again I'm a history buff.

About to hit its target. Let's see what stretch goals they have....

And now 150K has been cleared. Target hit, waiting for stretch goals in the end rush...

I'm a history buff, it's a pity I don't care about American history though or probably would have pledged this game.
Predestination was a bit of nail-biter with donations seemingly stalling near the end. The Paypal donations (last reported amount $848) do count towards the stretch goal, but it would have been nice to see $50K+ on Kickstarter as well. They have said Paypal will remain open, but after today will drop to $20 pre-order pledges only.

They did mention the possibility of extra funding from local grants - I do rather hope that allows them to reach a further stretch goal since these were going to offer advanced space/ground combat systems. While these have been promised for expansions anyway, doing major gameplay enhancements separately can be tricky due to the greater potential for conflicts elsewhere - in particular they need to take care that nothing in their colony design system precludes (or complicates) the addition of detailed ground combat later on.

I did mention it a while back, it should be worth consideration. As for other Kickstarters, I'm going to have to stay clear for a while. Predestination (yes, upped my pledge again) and Larry Elmore's upcoming one have pretty much cleared me out for the time being.
Ok I will add Meriwether since you guys want it. It's just that I wasn't very impressed by the initial pitch, is all.
