Zoltan999: Star Citizen has passed well by it's $500,000 goal, and as of now, seems to have passed it's overall 2 Mil goal to greenlight it. Lastest update:

amok: Starforged:

http://www.indiegogo.com/starforge

"StarForge is a game about gathering resources, building bases, crafting anything you want, and surviving on an alien planet. Earth's star is dying and humanity transferred as much technology and resources as possible and left on a one way mission to populate another planet.

StarForge was inspired by Halo, Warcraft 3, Borderlands, Terraria, and Minecraft. It borrows elements from the RTS, FPS, RPG, Voxel Builder, Tower Defense, and Physics Sandbox genres. We are building a dark and serious universe and want the player to live out their own unique story on the procedural planet."
Looks good, Minecraft is inspiring a lot of games, I already backed Dysis and Timber and Stone in KS.

lowyhong: From Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective's latest update:
Folks,

Shadow Friday is October 26th! I am really excited to announce that this Friday we are launching a Shadowgate Kickstarter campaign! We have been working on this for many weeks and can't wait to launch it. We will go live at 9am EST this Friday and we hope you will get behind us and support our campaign. We know you will be blown away by what we show of the new game as well as the ridiculously cool rewards we have designed exclusively for Shadowgate and fantasy fans.

As you may know, we have been in pre-production for a few months now and have made great strides on the game design, artwork and audio but WE NEED YOUR HELP to complete our vision for a re-imagined Shadowgate.

We wanted to tell you about it first so you to take advantage of the early bird specials we've included in the campaign. We wanted you to be the first to know so you can get the jump on the rest of the world and grab up those special deals. We are offering three limited pledging tiers which include a digital game tier, a physical box/cloth map/poster tier and a Shadowgate card game tier - a card game designed by the creator of the Middle Earth Collectible Card game.

We are very thankful for your support over this last year and hope you join us this Friday! For your convenience we'll send out an email with the URL on Friday morning or you can simply type 'Shadowgate' in the search engine on the Kickstarter site after it goes live at 9am EST.

Again, thanks for believing in Zojoi and the games we want to create!

Yeah, I'd like to know too.
New projects:

Interstellar Marines: Prologue, a sci-fi FPS/RPG

PULP!, a combat game with airships

And Timber and Stone just finished sucessfully their campaign.

Zoltan999: A previous post, after I had a Q + A with Chris through the KS page...
Hmm...while there is a SP campaign, it seems to serve more as an introduction/tutorial to the MP world, according to both the KS page and design document - my reading is that if you aren't into MP, you'll only experience a fraction of the game.

Yeah, that seems to be the case doesn't it? That for sure bums me out a bit :(

Me too. Though there are single-player projects out there (go, Nexus 2, go!) and Chris Taylor fans have a choice of Chris Taylors to worship. :)

Edit: Another single-player M.O.R.E. is finishing tomorrow - it's made funding so it's now about the stretch goals...

I already backed Star Citizen. Hoping the SP campaign is at least somewhat as fun as Freeelancer's was. Who knows, if SC is as good as Chris plans to make it, maybe I will actually give the MP a try. Have you checked out Strike Suit Zero? [url=http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/43153532/strike-suit-zero]http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/43153532/strike-suit-zero This is one other that looks to be doing well, and I backed. As lowyhong stated in an earlier thread, this would be a nice one to see come to GOG.

edit: incidentally, just realized that I also backed Chris Taylor's Arakion you pointed out..think that's gonna be a real good one for Grimrock lovers.
