Sorry I'm just worried they could have been abusing Kickstarter. Even if Project Eternity makes enough profit to allow them to be an interdependent game studio I still hope they make more Fallout games.

On another note: anyone guess why Loot Drop's game isn't being backed as well as it should be? It seems a good-looking game, why is it taking so long to reach the goal amount.

Bethesda has the rights of the Fallout franchise, then Obsidian must submit again to a publisher for this

And regarding Loot Drop, the main problem was the bad pitching (aka almost no information at the start of the campaign)

The Fallout IP belongs to Bethesda so Obsidian won't be making any more Fallout games unless Bethesda hires them again.

Probably because originally the Kickstarter said nothing concrete about the game other than it is going to be an "old school RPG". It seems they are slowly correcting that mistake with each update. IMO it gives the impression that they haven't thought anything regarding the game at all and just wanted to jump on the Kickstarter wagon.

I hope they could work in conjunction or something then. Obsidian has interesting fallout stories. I'm talking more about sort of spin-offs like New Vegas not more games like the original two (That'll never happen though Wasteland 2 should be close enough)

Indeed, slowly is the right word.

Another project: Fabled Fortress, looks interesting, but I hope the iOS/android platforms don't prejudice the PC/Mac ones

I don't see anybody mentioning it, but The Old School RPG has been renamed to Shaker. Seems to have happened in the last hour or so.

Which is interesting, I didn't know you could rename projects during the campaign.

For anybody who isn't yet sick of me talking about it. Enclave is back online and people will likely be able to place new orders in the near future from Daniel's site. They've also added a new color, black frames and green lenses. Looks awesome.

Now that should be moving at a good pace. It sounds like the samples he's gotten back look quite good.

And that's all I'll say about that, KS kind of sucks for taking so long to respond to the mess.

Chris Taylor also removed the "Chris Taylor's" from the title of Arakion halfway through the campaign (presumably because he was being accused of trying to cash in on the many other Chris Taylors in the biz) so yeah.

7.7M is rather optimistic. ;)
