McDon: I like the 2 for 1 approach. If you read about it it's well done I think. Each of the two designers design a game each (so it'd be different approaches) and what do in one game will effect the other (multiple beginnings I think is one). Pity multiple beginnings is a goal cause it's the main thing about the game that stands out for me because it's original.
Indeed, that's an interesting concept. But it's unclear how they plan to do this. If there is a plan... Maybe they're just throwing ideas at the moment.

I don't know, maybe the "new" part makes the difference.
There has been a lot of adventure projects on Kickstarter and the 2 most funded (
Double Fine's and
Homestuck ) were not sequels.
Quite frankly I thought
Broken Sword5 would have reached $1.0M when they added
BaSS2 as a stretch goal, but they never got this high.
