AstralWanderer: Could it really be that a game offering the chance to "pay for parking, speeding tickets, or may get stuck a in traffic jam" for such a popular platform as the Nook fails to reach its (probably realistic at $160,000) target?
Yeh what a surprise!

3d TBS game with mechs and stuff. I think it's going for a wargame feel and that does come through. Shame they didn't use Kickstarter, they would have probably reached goal by now there.

Does look interesting but it's Flexible Funding, which RockPaperShotgun has expressed concern over.
A couple more PC games projects to consider:

Legends of Aethereus - Co-Op Action RPG (Jul 23)
Despite the title, this will include a single-player mode (see FAQ at the end) and looks pretty good, judging from the screenshots.

Jetpack 2 - by the creator of the original Jetpack (Jul 30)
A nice-looking side-scroller and sequel to a near-20-year-old game (hey, why isn't that on GOG?).

Damn you Astral, why must thou tempt me. I bite my thumb at you.
Clang reached it's funding goal. There goes my furniture.
Thought I'd just put this here.

Wasteland 2 to come with a free copy of the original Wasteland!

http://nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=61946

Meaning that GOG could kill two birds with one stone if they were to get hold of Wasteland 2. :)

That's great news. I understand why they didn't promise to do it from the start, but I'm thrilled that they were able to work out a deal to include the game. And really a 25 year old game shouldn't cost much if anything.
I just noticed that Skyjacker is not included in the first post. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/digitilus/al-skyjacker

So, according to that, it's up to EA that the original Wasteland could be released here as a standalone game.

That's weird. I thought I have it in there. I even backed it lol. Thanks for letting me know.
Here is a project that I think could use some attention. Simon Strange and the people at Sunstone Games want to bring us another Kaiju fighting game. These people are mostly known for their work on the Godzilla fighting games.

These games are pretty fun and to see them work on a new giant monster game would be nice to see. Kaiju Combat is their new idea for a game. The link can be found here for Kaiju Combat

It was there previously - must have been dropped accidentally during an edit. Thanks for highlighting it though - it is one project that does deserve to make it in my view.

You may find Kaiju City of interest then - a boardgame on a similar theme.
