MysterD: Valve takes FOREVER to make a game.

I'm reminded at this point of the line "and we're out of beta, we're releasing on time" from the song Still Alive at the end of Portal. Best game ending EVER :-D

Eh, I still think Fallout had a really great ending.

Sorry, never finished Fallout. I've got the series from here, but haven't got around to them yet.

Skystrider: Fake or not, that video rocked. Even if it just made for the gag, it is very well done!
As for Valve, well, E3 is just around the corner... ;)
Thanks for the link, by the way!

An interesting Interview with the creator

Wishbone: One of my friends found this on StumbleUpon: http://babel-research.eu/witb/stream/
Check out the video, and then check out the site itself (http://babel-research.eu/). I'd say this has to be a viral marketing campaign for something new related to the Half-Life universe. Does anyone know anything about it?

here's your answers, it's an ARG

I still have no idea what an ARG is (although I get that it's connected to the show Lost, which I've never seen), but there certainly is an amazing amount of secrets or easter eggs embedded in this phenomenon. The creator must be a fan of The Da Vinci Code ;-)

That is absolutely amazing! Okay, so it's completely independent, not officially connected to either the Lost universe or the Half-Life one (although obviously inspired by both), but slated to eventually become a full length feature film. I can't wait to see what this guy pulls out of his sleeve next.

Alternate Reality Game
A few guys I know on Xbox live played a match against Valve on Left 4 Dead a few weeks back. They beat Valve, but it all came down to the finale. They also asked when episode 3 is coming out, but apparantly Valve would have to kill them if they told them.

Alternatively, they might have killed Valve if they heard the answer to that one.
