gameon: I read that Toca race driver 3 was on GOG.com before. But it doesn't seem to be any more.
ObsCure was removed too.

Drelmanes: was removed too.
[url=http://gogwiki.com/wiki/List_of_games_removed_from_GOG]Here's a list that I believe is complete. Courtesy of the fine community members putting their time towards making the GOGWiki a more informative place.
I know its not the best of publicity, but I do think that, in cases where titles have to be removed, it would be good of GoG give a notice to the membership and also give a, rough, outline of the reasonings behind the removal.

I think a lot of companies like to operate a lot of their legal side behind closed doors, the downside is that this creates a point of confusion for the fans/supporters of the company when choices are made open (or in the background) which don't appear to have any basis as far as they can see.

Even a short mention that its was removed for "legal reasons" would at least provide some form of an answer to the membership.
Have there been any examples of this? Most games that seem to get removed from stores like GOG are because of license issues or support issues.
Among other things but...I must admit that I have been somewhat dissapointed in the sale performances of some games...

No games have been removed from GOG due to low sales (as far as we know).

These are what I do remember:
Colin McRae Rally 2005 - Car/team brand licensing.
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis (later re-added as ArmA: Cold War Assault) - Rights issue over the name.
ObsCure - Music licensing.
TOCA Race Driver 3 - Car/team brand licensing.

These I do not remember the issue with, I'd guess they had technical troubles that needed to be solved:
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
Republic: The Revolution

Tevosion: So the cunclusion I can make, is that the answer is no?
And thanks for all the comments!
Yes, the answer is no.

With a cursory glance at the GOGwiki and linked threads, it looks like it was issues with who actually had the rights to sell the games.

jamyskis: It's part of GOG strategy. Everytime GOG releases a turd of a game, TheEnigmaticT can rightly claim on the forums that the game can't be that bad, because it is still a thousand times better than Forsaken Gods.

It puts even the worst of games into a positive light.

spindown: Indeed. Even the infamous Master of Orion 3 can now look down upon Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods.
...seriously? Was it really that bad? Why?

Republic was on GOG??? I wish I still had that time machine...

If GOG removed games because a great many people had technical problems then I don't think that Blood 2 would have survived its first day on sale.

Moto Racer 2 was removed for a few days as here were some traces of DRM left, IIRC. My assumption regarding those two is only me parroting what information I gathered though (which might very well be false).

Very true. But that was in direct of GOG's own policies. The whole 'working on modern systems' has always been... well it's not a cast iron guarantee is it? It's more something they (more often than not) aim for.

I *recall* Republic had legal issues as well, namely the soundtrack was a disputed point... But I could be wrong.
