Commandos series, Creatures series, Constructor, Imperial Glory, Mob Rule, and Praetorians 60% off!

With the releases of [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/cultures_12]Cultures 1+2, Imperialism 2: The Age of Exploration, and King's Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY this has been a particularly strategy-focused week on GOG.com, so why not continue on that note with our weekend promo. We present you 9 great Digital Game Factory titles 60% off! Let's see what you could be doing this weekend, shall we?

In Commandos Ammo Pack and Commandos 2+3, the great tactical RTS series, you can assume the role of the commander of a WWII special ops unit. Be careful, though--that's not an easy task, by any means.

In and its sequel, [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/mob_rule]Mob Rule you can become a made man, or even the Don, and organize crime in any way you can imagine. The city is your oyster, so get the lime and begin your feast!

And in case you're a little less strategically inclined, but you'd still like to emerge yourself in a game that requires quite a lot of careful planning and the ability to exercise authority, you can try to help some furry alien artificial life forms to evolve and become more intelligent in Creatures Village, Creatures: The Albian Years, and Creatures: Exodus.

But that's not nearly all you can do in the games we're offering you 60% off this weekend. Why don't you go to the promo page and see what other interesting activities cooked up by Digital Game Factory await you.

Below, you'll find this year's first episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

Have a nice weekend!

If you like the Commandos Series, you will like this probably also. The difficulty is comparable to them. Its all about rock/paper/scissors Units, Terrain advantage and control of tactical places.
Its not that easy, though!

Praetorians is excellent and the graphics are very nice for an older game.

I've only played through the first five levels so far but the difficulty is manageable. It obviously gets more difficult the higher up the levels you get, but I haven't found anything I couldn't handle yet. If I remember correctly, you might be able to choose your own difficulty level (but don't quote me on that :)

Oh and btw, I highly recommend Imperial Glory as well. A bit like the Total War games but, in some respects, even better.

I'd grab it if I didnt' already own it :) It's really that good.

Yes you can choose beetween 3 different difficulty settings. On normal (there is also easy and hard) its pretty challenging, but with right tactic and decisions beatable :)
I have no idea what the 500th game might be

It either has a lot of actual, dangerous traps or has an overbundance of breasts in it

Any guesses?

Have the Commando games on Steam (never played them though).Have Praetorians from IndieGalaX (DRM free )
The 3 x creatures games ive heard over.. they worth it? (was there only 3 games in the series? thought there were more). If you were only to pick one, which Creatures game would be recommended?

Althought my wishlist of must-haves is 0 items long I think it's about time to start picking all those nice-to-have games. Commandos seems like a good start :-)
Booby traps?

Could TET be referring to Indiana Jones? I doubt it. Man, what a tease.
Booby traps... huh... Vietcong? More Worms? Poison from Streets of Rage? A bird recognition guide?
Sadly nothing that tickles my fancy here.
