So I wanted to post on GOG and I got greeted by this page.



I'm wondering, was this a glitch or something or what?

By definition, a glitch is simply a minor malfunction... any minor malfunction. That was not what the GOG website is supposed to look like, but it was still functional and it did clear itself up, so I'd say that qualifies as a glitch. The question is, was it a glitch in the GOG website, or was it your browser, or perhaps in your ISPs equipment, maybe it was GOG's service provider... we'll probably never know and unless it starts happening all the time, you shouldn't even care.

Looks to me like one of the CSS files didn't load properly. CSS are little text tiles that tell the browser how the page should look. Had none of them loaded you'd be looking at a white background, black Times new Roman text, blue links and little else. In other words it would have been 1996 all over again.

Looks legit to me.
