Worms Armageddon is still being updated as far as I know, so before getting a game like W:A on GOG, it would be cool if GOG made some sort of non-intrusive auto updater for its games (as far as I know, if GOG games get an update you have to re-download the game, right?) That function hasn't proved itself worthwhile so far, since most old games don't get updated any more.

I think they're just calling it by the same name. It's not really W:A. It's more like Worms: Open Warfare than the original Armageddon.

it's basically the same as Worms on the PSN. like i said, more like Open Warfare than the classic versions. It's the classic versions I want people to vote for.

Worms 2 Armageddon is based on the Open Warfare 2 engine, I heard. However T17 tweaked the physics to mimic the original W:A. They also added almost all the old weapons (Worms 1 XBLA only had the few basic weapons) and a few "new" ones. But yes, it's still dumbed down, especially compared to the newest versions of Worms Armageddon by Deadcode and CyberShadow (Worms 2 Armageddon is coming to PC too btw)

It seems to me that if the OP is trying to garner votes for this game, then they already know what the wishlist is and where to find it.

You guys should try Hedgewars (http://www.hedgewars.org/). It's an exact clone of the old Worms games. It also features Online and LAN play.

Right. The odds of GOG releasing the 360/PSN Worms 2 is nil, largely because it's a "new" game. There has been some rumblings of Team17 re-releasing the original Worms Armageddon on other download services, however personally I can't see that happening until Deadcode and Cybershadow finish up their patches to 4.0.
And when you consider they want to implement all of the new features from Worms: World Party and make Armageddon run from a World Party disc...
