Good advice. I keep trying to think of some good advice, but when I was 15 I was trying to impress girls and failed miserably. The only girl was when I was 17, and she had known me so long by then she knew who I was inside.
I guess I can only agree that if you are yourself you are at least doing it right. The outcome will be whatever it will be, which you can never know without trying.

My only real advice would be to make sure when you go "out" for the first time that you make sure she feels she is the MOST IMPORTANT being in the world. Do not be rude or anyone else, just be you, and just make sure she knows you are there to spend time with her.

N.B. I am a man, so given how unreliable the female mind is this might not work. They are all crazy as hell - every one of them.

Advice : keep yourself clean of most things. Buy a printer. Be thoughtful without overdoing/rushing things.

As long as you're comfortable with her and she is with you, you are on the right path.

A Printer?

It's complicated, but the last person who wanted advice on that subject had "printer/girl issues", buying a printer would have solved both of his problems. You don't seem to particularly need a printer so far though ;)

Well, I have 3 or so broken printers in my attic, and one working one. That explains my luck. I guess we are talking about the guy where a girl needed to print some stuff, etc. I remember that thread.

I can say I've noticed the same thing. Most any advice isn't going to necessarily apply.

I've found that it helps to be upfront about your interest before you get too invested and then end up in the Friend Zone *thunderclap* while you're trying to claw your way out of it. Not helps get dates, necessarily, but helps everyone be on the same page at least.

I think I can guess at what the Friendzone is. When a girl thinks of you as a friend. Is there anyway to get out? I'm just fairly shy and I will never live it down if she rejects me and it gets out. The rejection Fallout will only last a week, but kind a embarrassing when you're a teenager.

I can absolutely attest to the truth of this. My hubby makes me laugh almost every single day - be it a bad pun, a horribly mis-pronounced word and just a silly facial expression. Laughter definitely hooked me and kept me coming back for more.

Friend Zone is when she thinks of you as just a friend, and you think of her as a friend until you can convince her to let you touch her naughty bits. Your stereotypical best friend with a crush on the female lead in teen movies. Can also go the other way round, the Friend Zone works both ways, and all of them are bad.

I know there nothing wrong with having friends of different genders, I have plenty of friends who are girls. Well, a few. Okay about 3. :)

That could be plenty, depending on your total number of friends :p That'd be a huge percentage for me lol

EDIT - S'more advice because the drive home was boring: Be interesting. Don't be interesting to impress her, just become an interesting person, and everyone will naturally be impressed. The most surefire way to get someone to like you is to be someone worth liking.
