cmdr_flashheart: Vanilla Skyrim character models.
pi4t: I assume you haven't played Oblivion/Morrowind? Shockingly, Skyrim's were a big improvement.
And in Oblivion, in keeping with their 'terrible design choice' theme, they decided to zoom right in on the hideously (un)animated faces in every conversation. I'm fine with a game not focussing on its graphics but its content (not that Oblivion did that very well either), otherwise I wouldn't be here, but if you know that something isn't very well done, why oh why would you draw the player's attention to it over and over again??
Haha, yeah they did :D But Skyrim came out in 2011, that's sooo relatively recent, and it makes sense to expect much better. Bethesda just didn't give a shit about polishing on the details in that game, and Vanilla Skyrim by itself is not that special- the mods and the modding community made that game worth it.
