Al1: Ok, maybe my previous post isnt such big news, it appears to be in the press release posted with the interview. (Cough) (quietly decideds to keep his mouth shut in future.)

I didn't know about the interview, good job in posting it.

PieceMaker42: I will pay the extra $5 for Beyond Good and Evil because I OWN the game rather than have to worry about Steam messing with me... Plus it goes torwards a good cause in the fight against DRM!

I knew someone was gonna say this. Even though I do hate DRM, I won't be paying 30% more for a game, I'd feel ripped of. Especially since I can live with steams unobstructive DRM system. Activation limits would e.g. mean not buying it at any price.
Most people will just want the game as cheap as possible and won't care much about the steam DRM anyway. Just ask regular Joe what DRM is.

Already got physical copies of Beyond Good and Evil and POP, but it's really nice to see them around here.
I'm hoping the GOG version of Far Cry works on my PC< as the Steam version starts up and freezes every time.
As for Heroes of Might & Magic, words cannot describe my elation upon seeing it in the Upcoming Games list. Come on HoMM 3!
As said by others I'm glad as well to see titles like BG&E, the first PoP and R6. But 9.99 bucks seem just too much for an eleven year old game (spaaking of Rainbow Six).
Please bring the price down! I definitely think that the cost's too high for these OLD masterpieces.

Already got the physical copy of HoMM 3 but I will buy it again in a heartbeat. Best game in series.

Amen, sister.
Great news! Well done all at GOG :)
Holy.. holy shit. Please, somebody hold me. I'm about to cry.
its wonderful to see gog.com getting more and more titles added to its library.
i just hope the pricing and quality remains.
i myself am very tempted by sands of time and will probably get it if the price is right when ive checked.
ubisoft doing quite a bit of this 'flogging off games at cheap prices' lately, what with the 50% off an Ubi game per day on Steam.
financial problems lurking there that they feel the need to up sales?
Ubisoft? Definitely didn't see that coming.
GOG would have also just made ten bucks from me if I didn't already own IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.
On another note, when will we see Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear and more of the main Might & Magic series (namely the "* of Xeen" titles, which I dabbled in a little as a kid, but was too young to play a game like that properly)?
Hey I wrote something on this here if you guys are interested: http://www.neoseeker.com/news/10249-good-old-games-signs-ubisoft-into-its-digital-catalogue/
peace. :)
Holy cow. Good job GOG!
If I didn't already have M&M1-8 (yes, that includes the Xeen games) I'd wish for them to be added.

Al1: Just noticed something in one of the interviews linked from GOG's twitter.
Can you talk about which Ubi games are we going to see at launch and what games are coming in the near term?
Obviously we’re pretty much thrilled to bring Ubi’s games to the site...and we’ve got other classics like Heroes of Might and Magic, Far Cry, Splinter Cell and more coming soon.

Splinter Cell!!! Mistake? did he mean the other Tom Clancy games? Or droppage of another title coming to GOG? Would personally love to see Splinter Cell on here, as i did not buy any in that series at retail because of DRM horror stories.

Second this. Having Chaos Theory available at GOG would be fantastic!
