So are all ubisoft titles going to be at 9.99$?
GOG: Please give us the original Prince of Persia. It would be perfect for this site. In fact, I don't understand why we got Sands of Time instead of that....
I think i will be buying BG&E and PoP, thankyou GoG/Ubi.
Is GOG gonna sell the ghost recon expansions in the future as well? i noticed that they are on steam for 5 bucks each.
This is awesome. I always wanted to get beyond good and evil. I heard it was good but was passed up by many, including me.... WAY TO GO GOG!
Fun to see Beyond Good And Evil.
However, I can get it for €4.99 ($6.759454 at the current rate) from steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/15130/).
Bring the price down to $5.99 and I'll buy.

heh just a few days ago I was wondering if HoMM will ever be on GOG but then I remembered it was owned by Ubisoft and there's no way that was going to happen. I'm glad I was wrong!
congrats, GOG team! I hope to never see any region restrictions here...
I will pay the extra $5 for Beyond Good and Evil because I OWN the game rather than have to worry about Steam messing with me... Plus it goes torwards a good cause in the fight against DRM!

Thnak you GOG for the great games can't wait for my pay check now. RB6- POP- and all the rest.
The 9.99$ price on current and already listed coming titles (with the exception of HoMM, not specified) is a bit unsettling (more in line of principle than for the actual cost, personally), but I'm happy to see Ubisoft titles here, both for being able to get certain classics DRM-free with the added value of the GoG treatment and because of what it means for gog.com.
Should I end up buying Beyond Good & Evil for the third time though, Mr. Guillemot, mark my words: release the sequel on PC too or you'll better start watching your back.
Just noticed something in one of the interviews linked from GOG's twitter.
Can you talk about which Ubi games are we going to see at launch and what games are coming in the near term?
Obviously we’re pretty much thrilled to bring Ubi’s games to the site...and we’ve got other classics like Heroes of Might and Magic, Far Cry, Splinter Cell and more coming soon.

Splinter Cell!!! Mistake? did he mean the other Tom Clancy games? Or droppage of another title coming to GOG? Would personally love to see Splinter Cell on here, as i did not buy any in that series at retail because of DRM horror stories.

Why do I arrive always late to these announcements?
I checked during lunch break and there wasn't anything up yet, than I came home from work and HOLY GODDAMN COW, Ubisoft pops up when I load GOG's page!
This is great, and i mean EFFING great news.
Not only Ubisoft has a strong catalogue of good games, they're also one of the biggest publishers around, and that means that GOG is finally starting to break through the big guys in the industry :) Think about that!
Kudos to the GOG staff, you're awesome!!!
That's Heroes of might and fuckin magic, man.... Cannon fodder just a couple days ago... this site's starting to make me think twice before buying any game out there.
Aww, I was wishing for ATARI instead of ubisoft for BG1&2, IWD1&2 and PS:T goodness (also NWN and ToEE). Ubisoft does not offer much of anything for Turn based tactics/strategy and RPG fans as far as I can see (unless Ubi owns some franchise that Wikipedia does not list). Ones it has I own or have played to death already (HoMM 1-3, Warlords 1-3 etc.).
Does Ubisoft own any good Turn based strategy/tactics or RPG franchises wikipedia does not list?
(side note: HoMM 1 will be overpriced no matter what as various bumble packs are cheap and still rather easy to come by (wether its 1-3, 1-4, 1-5 bumble pack) especially as first has nothing second does not have besides being first in the series. I know it's not GOG's fault but even it was HoMM II platinum instead (HoMM 1+2 +expansions) for 5.99$ it would not be a bargain.)
Ok, maybe my previous post isnt such big news, it appears to be in the press release posted with the interview. (Cough) (quietly decideds to keep his mouth shut in future.)
