That's not ironic, that's just coincidental.

Delixe: Generally people do not have any problem with the following DRM methods:

Well given that the only ones I don't have a problem with are :
- SecuROM disc checks
- GFWL (if the limited activation bug is removed) (as long as you can install/play in offline mode)
- Account based multi-player
...I guess that puts me in the lunatic category :)

You just said that you have no problems with those three types of DRM. How does that put you in the same category as people who wont even tolerate disc checks?

bansama: Oh, they already use it. I've confirmed it's used in Modern Warfare 2 and others rumor it's used in some of the Total War games too -- but I don't own any of those so can't confirm.

So it means that in countries where Steam don't let you activate MW2 it's actually impossible to play the game at all (unless you crack it or use VPN/Proxies), as the game require Steam... wonderful...

I thought you were saying that the lunatics were also those one that had problems with your first list of Copy Protection/DRM ;-)

Bender, is that you?

Actually it IS ironic. Ubisoft made a DRM scheme to keep pirates from playing their game, but allow paying customers more features. The complete opposite has occurred. That is the definition of irony.
Edit: Oh, if that was actually a Futurama reference that flew over my head, then: 1) nevermind, 2) hahaha.

Blame Alanis Morrisette. Ever since that damn song, no one understands what irony is anymore.

I insist! In fact, I dare say most of us would be highly offended if you were to stop.

Indeed, that would be most offensive if you were to refrain from that, good sir!

So does that make her a hack of a genius? Someone who doesn't understand the word or someone who understands it and deliberately misuses it to illustrate it...
Nah, she's a whinging bitch, no chance of her being a genius
Is this a bad time to say I actually like Alanis Morisette? Plus, she is God, so...
