Since we don't have forum signatures here and after getting a little support for this idea, I decided to create this thread.

Basically, if you run a YouTube channel (it must actually be yours, don't link to other people's channels!), post a reply below. It should follow this structure (you don't need to use the template:

Short Description (in about 150 words):
Since this is likely going to get out of control, I will be watching the thread closely to ensure there's no "off topic derailment". This thread should only be for linking to your channel, if you want feedback then ask people to drop a comment on your channel page or on a specific video.

I do Twitch instead of YT. I'm not funny, nor am I particularly pleasing to see/hear. However, I play all games new or old, and I love being able to chat with an audience.

Everybody keeps talking about the new copyright policies that Youtube is going to enforce, but I can't find any source that says what exactly those now policies are. Other than that, I love the interactivity of Twitch. It's like playing games with friends when my real life friends are too busy.

I used to upload stupid videos, but I stopped since the Google+ crap hit. I don't want to use my real name and nobody can give me a real answer about how to get around that.

Use a fake name? :)

You actually don't need to use g+, it's for login purposes only and a vain attempt for google to lure people use their useless network. You can switch back and forth your current and fake account but you MUST create that fake g+ account, i know, a nonsense on google side but it get's to be something quite common for them recently...

I already have a Google+ account. Unfortunately.

I just don't want my real name to show up in Youtube. I want everything to be accessible under "Foxhack". NOT David Silva. (My name is not a secret, I just don't want it to show up there.)

I believe that is still possible. YouTube asked me a while ago if I wanted to keep using my nickname or switch to my real name, and I obviously chose the nickname. As far as I can tell my real name is not showing up anywhere.

Log-in into youtube and press the arrow on the right upper corner near your name, in the list of menus that show there should be "switch account" option, when you press it it should show Foxhack and should allow you to use that account. If it prompts you for real name just skip it, i dunno if it will. That's how i use my older account with my nickname.
