You have 3 leads to go on now, I'm not going to give more clues than that. Try figure out what marks the spot and everything will fall in place.

Suggests x marks the spot and graphing all the locations in order and connecting the dots, Great Australian Bight goes to Gold Coast, then after a couple other locations Birdsville connects to Tasmania and crosses over the first line, making an x that appears to be at Broken Hill which has Morgan Street Public School as well as Channel 7 TV Tower which fits into my wrong answer of 7 again. No captain in there and Captain Morgan wasn't Australian so I'm not sure how to force that connection in there.

I've been working on this on-and-off but have always reached dead ends, so just thought I'd post some random thoughts (far from a complete answer):

Captain Morgan = pirate
SPECTRE = evil organisation (again, relates to pirates?)
"Figure out what marks the spot" = X marks the spot = pirate treasure = gold?

==> Something related to pirates?

P#1) CAPTAIN (confirmed)
P#2) Not sure what to do with this yet. Connecting dots in order gives nothing intelligible. Making the dots into X's seems to cross near the Simpson Desert. Taking the first letter of each name gives nothing (GGGBEBT), cannot be rearranged into a word either (not enough vowels). Connecting the dots in alphabetical order gives nothing. [Stretching it (and not likely) the lines also cross roughly close to Lasseter's Reef (since no one knows where this was exactly) and also links to the idea of gold above.]
P#3) Morgan Freeman => Morgan? Free?
P#4) SPECTRE = Bond? [Again stretching it, could also link to Goldfinger? (There's gold again!)] Maybe need to re-arrange these letters to something else too?

I can see you're putting in a lot of thought into this. I can tell you you're heading in the right direction.

Maybe not in terms of Bond, or gold either though.

P#2) It's probably crucial to connect the right dots to get a shape or picture.
