barleyguy: I think it is platform neutral, but at this point has only been released in limited territories.
(Sorry, that's probably not funny.)
No, that was very funny. :DDD

lukaszthegreat: Anyone else thinks that the flu is genetically engineered by Wall Street to keep public interested in it instead on them?
It is public knowledge that recent recession is their doing so Illuminati can bring New World Order but since people were onto them it would be logical to occupy public with something else.
Hence the swine flu.

But you know that it's all because of the social politic that we currently have in states and in europe. If there was more freedom without paying stupid taxes and goverments wouldn't try to rule everyone and tell them what to do there wouldn't be such a problem like such a recession.

Second. I am great supporter of perfect Anarchy and I am glad that somebody shares my point of view.
It's yet another case of the media manipulating people, and cashing in on it. Nothing new here.
What kind of boneheaded bullshit is this? Recession because of taxes?
The global financial crisis is purely a result of a weakly regulated financial system gone awry. It's the investment bankers and people dealing in derivatives, speculating in subprime loans, giving credit cards amass to people who should never have had any, and generally making up numbers without anything real necessarily tied to them, that are to blame for the recession.
Keep the thread clean of immature anarchist emo rage in the future.

...
I was being sarcastic you know. btw. There is nobody to be blamed. Recession could have not been predicted as the stuff which lead to it worked for past few decades without a glitch. Mistakes done in the past were not mistakes then but standard procedures. Plz don't jump on blamewagon as witchhunts are very bad idea.
ANYHOW
83 suspected victims of swine flu in NSW where I live. Getting interesting.
The recession was predicted. There's even a whole documentary movie from 2006 which pretty much predicts the exact course of events we're seeing now. The only problem was that nobody listened to the predictions - people who spoke up saying "Umm ... you guys sure this will work? It sounds a little off to me" were just brushed aside as negatives and nay-sayers.
ANYHOW
4 suspected cases of the flu of swines here in Norway yesterday.

Sorry, I had a cough a while ago and that probably inflated the figures somewhat
sorry. i need to ask but do you know the title of the movie? (and if it was made into a movie no surprise that it was not treated seriously)
GOG we need PMS! :)
I don't having anything else to contribute except that my swine flu started in Madagascar and I still failed to kill whole human population.
@Alias: I agree. The whole 'Pandemic" is blown out of proportion.

I'm sure there's at least someone in the GOG community with PMS, or at least someone who can get it.

I dunno anymore, I was just diagnosed with a nasty case of 82cm toshiba LCD TV and am starting to show symptoms of 'xbox 360 demo download' mania and 'ordering way too many DVDs from amazon' fever.
Hey its as valid a pandemic as swine flu...

I only saw it on TV, so I don't remember exactly. It was something along the lines of "The Credit Nation". The topic was the state of affairs in USA with respect to subprime mortgages, credit cards, and the-uncritical-loaning-out-of-money in general.
For the best part it's the nth pathetic FUD by pharmaceutic firms.
Indeed I hope things will turn out to be like a worldwide zombies outbreak, something I'm ready to deal with years by now....

@stonebro:
I managed to find two movies from 2006: Maxed Out and In Debt We Trust. And i see your point (if one of these movies talks about what you meant :) ). This thing was preached for a long time (at least since 2004). Unfortunately it ain't so simple. Average Joe is to be blamed on equal grounds as CEOs of banks who benefited from that addiction.
