Will you get the polka dotted one? ;-p
Realms of Chaos, mainly. Maybe Lands of Lore and Anvil of Dawn. A lot of "*blank* of *blank*" games, honestly. I've got a nice little backlog here, so I'm not after too much.

Over on Steam I'm hoping for a $20 or less Far Cry 3 and a couple of indie games that aren't over here.
FTL.

I've seen so much awesome about this game but have failed to pull the trigger. Can't guarantee I'll do it during a summer sale but that will be my best bet!
The only thing I want is to see tinyE in his pink summer dress.
Is it too late to hope for a LucasArts summer conference announcement?
The only game I really want right now is Prison Architect. Only problem is that it's so damn expensive and still in alpha. If it gets a discount to $10-15 or less, I may consider buying it.

Heretic777: Dungeon Siege Complete Pack on Steam for $5, which i bought today, i was waiting for this all year :)

langurmonkey: You've been waiting all year to save $15...
Actually you save about $31 USD, if you consider each game is $7 and DS 3 is $15 at regular price..

I was going to purchase this also, then I realized I beat 1 & 2.. and 3 I don't like much, so I removed it promptly from my virtual "Cart".

That would be great, wouldn't it :)

In that case...

X-Wing
TIE Fighter
X-wing vs TIE Fighter
Battlefront
Battlefront 2
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith
Republic Commando
Starfighter
The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
Force Commander
The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition
The Force Unleashed 2
Dark Forces
Knights of the Old Republic
Empire at War Gold Pack
Knights of the Old Republic 2
Lego Star Wars Collection

Why? Because a lot of those I never got to play. I'd rather own them on GOG then on steam. And whether some are good or bad doesn't bother me, since it's Star Wars. If anything I'd feel complete

Are you a Star Wars geek or a Star Wars game geek and I urge you to be honest. There is no shame in the GOG forum; we are all friends here. :-)

To be honest...

I'm both!

I was raised on the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS, which I watched many times and probably nearly wore out the tape. It was taped off of cable TV (USA I think, but it's been a while). I also went to see all of the prequel trilogy opening day (or at midnight, in the case of Episode 2 and 3), as well as being a subscriber to the Star Wars Insider in the late 90's, wanting to soak in most star wars info

I salivated over merely renting Empire Strikes Back on the NES, and absolutely loved ALL of the Super Star Wars games on SNES. I also spent countless hours playing Shadows of the Empire, to the point I made it my daily game session to master some of the levels (specially the Hoth snow speeder level or the level where Dash Rendar has to fight off TIE fighters in the asteroid field). I also got Dark Forces II Jedi Knight, eventhough our IBM Apitva in '98 couldn't run it right. Since then all I've really got to play is some of the Rogue Squadrons on Gamecube, Empire at War on the PC, and Star Wars The Old Republic (i was in the beta and got the digital collectors...stopped playing after two months to focus on Rift and plan for Guild Wars 2).

These days I'm concerned about the series future in Disney's hands, as you know there will be Star Wars, Mickey, and other disney character mashups in the coming years and spin-offs. Also, having Abrams control both the future of the Star Trek franchises AND the Star Wars franchises isn't fair, because frankly, I really don't think he's THAT good, nor does it make sense in my eyes to give so much power to control the direction of two of just a handful of legendary sci-fi franchises (there really aren't that many left that have been around for over 30 years and have huge followings). George Lucas had made some errors in quality of the prequels and some releases of the original trilogy in their special edition forms (the blu ray box set still has a pretty low rating), but I suppose it will still have his influence in the new trilogy since he's still "working" in a way with Abrams for the new films, but I'm not sure on how deep that influence will go. These are just my concerns, that's it, coming from a guy who want's to see the future of any big sci-fi franchise succeed.

I'm also a diehard trekkie, whovian, and stargate fan. But I'll save my rants and raves about those for another post :)

So yes, I'm a geek indeed.

For once there really isnt a whole lot i want. There are a few things on my Steam wishlist but otherwise really isnt much. Been a pretty stale first half of the year for me to be honest.

Isn't it nice to have options? No need to thank me.
I wonder if we'll see something similar to the Battle of the Games voting?

Or maybe there will be a different system that has people vote on promos. Or something else entirely.

I think we had the idea a couple months ago in a thread by HomerSimpson that it would be cool to have a voting bracket. Start with maybe 16 or 32 games. Vote on matchups every day or two. A game's discount depends on how far it makes it. For example,

Champion - 80% off
Runner-up - 75% off
Final Four - 70% off
Final Eight - 65% off
Final Sixteen - 60% off
