robobrien: Does anyone know if Space Rangers 2 is an updated version of the original or a sequel?
Cheers

SR2 is the original
SR2 Reloaded (or Reboot, I forget what the R was :p) is an expansion pack

soulgrindr: Any thoughts on Jericho? Any must-buy deals?

I thought Jericho was a fantastic game, especially for the price.
Aaaannd... I'm screwed. Turns out I have an automatic money transfer to pay for my Visa credit card account and it expired in april. I had changed my cell phone and they had a typo on my e-mail, so they couldn't contact me. I now owe the bank $86 to activate my credit card again.
Looks like I'll be waiting for the christmas sale. I'll have to do what Endlessknight will do with the Witcher, which is one of the few games I'd actually want. The rest I was buying because they're cheap, not because I really wanted them. I'll only grab one of the daily deals if it's a game I want and the price is too low to refuse.

Aliasalpha: I'm in if you're doing it, was thinking of trying to start one myself but since we get shafted on prices, it'd cost everyone basically full price

Sorry, but I'm not organizing it.
There's Wolfox in the deals thread wanting it, you need 2 more to go. (if he still wants it, I don't know).

What's this? Penguin? Never heard of it.

bansama: Heh. Did they ever get more keys for Prey?
avatar
Navagon: Ha! No. I noticed it was labelled Sold Out in this sale too.

Prey, yes.
And now FEAR is out of keys for the MP, hahaha
"Notice: The Multiplayer component for F.E.A.R. is currently inaccessible. We are awaiting keys from the developer that will solve this issue. The single player mode is available now."
Yay, about two minutes until I can check to see if any of the games on my greatly expanded watchlist are 24-hour'd.
AvP 2000 - 75% off
Resident Evil 5 - 75% off
Lead and Gold - 66% off
Serious Sam Double Pack - 75% off
GTA: Episodes from Liberty City - 50% off
Ghostbusters - 80% off
Alpha Protocol - 33% off
Galcon Fusion - 75% off
Today only: Alpha Protocol for regular price! (ahh my bad, 33% off, doesn't say that till you click on its page)
And what's with Ghostbuters today only at $6.79 when it was that price yesterday?
Does that Ghostbusters have any of the retail copy's drm or is it just steam?
I'm deciding between that or Devil May Cry 4 ($9.99 new boxed at a local store)

$34 for Alpha Protocol is rather tempting. Did say that I would consider getting it at $30 bucks.

I would advise staying the hell away from Ghostbusters. Really poor port, and the game itself kind of sucks (I am not the only Ghostbuster who endlessly got sodomized by candle sticks on the second level...)

Thx for suggestions guys...
I was thinking about Dirt 2 but i don't believe my computer will be able to handle it right now. it needs dual core but i have ol' 3200 AMD.
Not that big of fan of multiplayer...
and grid is something i played before. racing in the cities in closed tracks. done that... gotham racing, every version of NFS sans number 2, prostreet and shift, gotham racing and few more which i don't remember atm.
Ill probably get fuel...
Meh, nothing interesting yet.....C'mon Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines...
Good to know about ghostbusters. I remember reading it was a bad port but to still be that bad even at $6.79 must make it the worst port of the year.

Ghostbusters played fine for me except for one game stopping bug where the AI would randomly get stuck in an endless loop. But I certainly never had any trouble with the candlesitcks, but then again, I didn't pirate the game =)
The candlesticks endlessly attacking, etc., was an anti-piracy "glitch" that was placed in the game.
I can't see Alpha Protocol - I guess it's region locked. Oh bummer. No biggie - I can get it from Gamersgate some time in the future. ;-)
Got Lead & Gold from this batch. I'm a big Paradox supporter, and I was waiting for a sale to get this game.
I dunno about Ghostbusters. It's currently €4 today only and I enjoyed it for what it is which isn't much admittedly. The port is ok as far as graphics go it's just that there is no multiplayer and it's got a few rather bad bugs that Atari have said they have absolutely no intention of patching. If you really love Ghostbusters then it's well worth €4. If you are after a challenging and rewarding game then look elsewhere.

I'm thinking about Lead and Gold but I guess it will be discounted even harder in the future, so I'll pass for now.

This. Instabuy at $2.49. And Dark Messiah for the same.
EDIT: Damn, they're still charging $19.99 for Bloodlines?! Where this money goes 100% to? Activision?
