gyokzoli: Is Avencast good?

What little I've played of it - basically the tutorial it's pretty good. Nice easy playstyle, graphics good. Worth the money (~£3.50 IIRC) and probably more, too :P
Did many people buy Left 4 Dead 2 seeing as it was on offer for nearly seven pound again? Grabbed it and downloading now, could maybe play together. Not sure if I have a headset that works or anything though.

I already have it and would love to get in some playtime. If you like, add me on steam: cymtyr

TheCheese33: I've been considering picking up The Whispered World while it's on sale. Does anyone here have an opinion on it?

Not that it'll do you a lot of good now that the sale is over, but since your question remained unanswered I wanted to say that it is the best Adventure game I have played in recent years. Both visuals and story are really up to par with the great LucasArts hits. Very lovely hand-drawn graphics, and although some say it looks "childish", it is merely "child-friendly" and actually has a pretty deep, mature story.
I don't know about the quality of the English localisation as I have the German original, but for me personally it was one of very few games lately that I felt were worth paying full-price for.

Feel free to add me as well (arcticblaster76) and maybe we can play some time. I don't usually use the headset either, so no big deal. :)
As for my overall Steam buys :
Saints Row 2
Killing Floor
9th Company : Roots of Terror - You play as Russian troops in Afghanistan in the 80's. I'll drop $5 on a premise that unique.
The Maw
Puzzle Kingdoms - If a game costs less than a pack of gum, I'll buy it. And as a bonus, it's not bad.
Red Orchestra
Order of War : Challenge
Introversion Complete Pack
Kane & Lynch Dead Men
Avencast
i managed to stick to just getting Zeno Clash

Will add you, Crassmaster. My profile name is Dan_CW. Just tested the game, works fine though I was unsure at first. Froze at the loading screen after the intro initially. Did the first two levels, but died on the third (Dead Center campaign). So turned it off for now.
i mainly just have too many games to do already!

ilves: CHeers for that mate my steam ID is coolguy6.

ilves: hey, I tried adding you as a friend on Steam, which you need to do prior to gifting, but the username wasn't coming up. Probably easier with an email address as I can gift it directly there

What a legend, got the games thanks man.

No problem, I've had those games in my account for 2+ years, wasn't doing anything with them, might as well give 'em away to someone who wants them

lackoo1111: didn't buy anything,only gifted to friends

So you enabled people to buy from Steam. Tsk tsk tsk, lackyloos, that's what I call supporting Steam!

KneeTheCap: Umm, why does people buy games from steam what you can get here( (ie. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, Ghost Master, FlatOut I, Kings Bounty, Freedom Force) DRM-free? It's only a few bucks in difference...

'cuz not all of us have kooky anti-DRM fetishes.

Ghost Master was 50p on Steam, roughly £4 here. There was a similar price difference with some of the other titles you mentioned. Not even a GOG sale is going to get close to that. My GOG support only goes so far. Especially for games I'd not otherwise have bought.

Can't really be called a fetish when your not into something. It's more of a lowest price wins regardless of overall quality thing.
Just Bioshsock at $4.99 from steam for me during the sale. I know I'm several years late but I've only had a pc to run the game for the past year.
I read responses on here that they did great ar 3.41 euros a game but 3.41 X 38 still adds up to a lot unless your used to buying games at full price. More importantly, I can't say I'd get around to even half of the 38 even if it they all interested me.
Day of Defeat
Day of Defeat: Source
= around 3 euros.
I was only after Valve games anyway.
